Relationships aren't perfect
RELATIONSHIPS AREN'T PERFECT
I know every girl wants her own Mr right, her Knight in shining armor who'll be willing to sweep her off her feet instantly. I also know that every guy dreams about that perfect girl who's endowed with all the physical features that he desires as well as a personality or 'character' that's befitting of a woman he'd like to be with.
The problem with all this is that we spend so much time looking for perfect partners that can help us build the perfect relationship when in truth, there are no perfect relationships!!! If people spent more time thinking about the overall compatibility of themselves with their next significant other and less about 'how you want them to look', or 'how much money you expect them to have' then I'm pretty sure people would be so much happier with their relationships.
No relationship is perfect, every relationship has it's problems. Let's take Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie for instance. They were everybody's favourite couple, both of them were successful, super rich and extremely attractive. They even went round the world and adopted children from multiple races and this made us all feel like there was nothing that could ever tear them apart but like all things in this life, nothing lasts forever and Brad and Angelina were no exception to this.
Now, what am I trying to say here, it's simple NO RELATIONSHIP IS PERFECT. It's not even enough for two people to be attracted to each other, it's not enough for two people to be compatible, what cements relationships together in my opinion is the willingness to try. The willingness to try and make things better even when all your senses say you should give up, the willingness to not give up on your partner and by extension your relationship when things get bad.
To the guys, if you give up on your woman the second she starts acting up or behaving some type of way, then why did you enter the relationship in the first place. Women are delicate creatures who are far more emotional than us men can ever be, if she's complaining about something then hear her out before you christen her with the title of 'nagging woman'. You never know, if you search yourself, you might just see that she has a point.
To the ladies, if you decide that nagging is the best way to communicate with your man instead of sitting him down and talking to him like a human being then why on earth did you date him in the first place??? Men are simple creatures with even simpler needs. If you stress us with nagging and shouting then we will instinctively block you out.
I once asked a very old couple that lived on my street what the secret to their long lasting relationship was and all they said was "Never stop trying". It's not easy to love someone, and often times it's not easy for people to love us either, but if you're willing to make it work and so is your partner, then I'm pretty sure your relationship will be one for the ages.
That's it for today folks, if you liked it then

This is coming to you from @stach's very own @francistagbo.
hi francis, i really enjoyed this piece honestly.
first, i liked the part where you claimed that the needs of a man are very simple which is true.
in my own opinion, i believe the best way to enjoy a relationship is to focus on being the better or perfect partner.
imagine if the two parties involved could just work on themselves individually without expecting anything from the other partner. that way, relationships would even last longer.
I like that bro, you're absolutely right. That's one very good way to make things work with your partner. Thanks for reading bro
I will blame this on the things the media feeds us, they make us believe in fairytales and all that. Hollywood movies especially, Disney land is not exempted!
