RE: Day 105 - 5 Minute Freewrite: Thursday - Prompt: elephant
#freewrite day 105- The Elephant
Whenever I read or heard the name of elephant, in my mind the name of George Orwell, the "Animal farm" writer comes. He have also written a book "Burmese Days" where he described the killing of a mad elephant.
He didn't wanted to kill the elephant but he was pressurized. But now in our vicinity the elephants are in real danger. As the humans have occupied the lands and forests, the elephant corridors, where they graze and migrate every year. Therefore, the fight against The elephants and humans are increasing day by day. And we know who is the obvious winner and who is suffering.
The elephants are in danger and verge of extinct as they are killed by the railway tracks, electric wires, bullets of smuglers in Assam, India. This is a very serious issue for us. Though government is taking some steps, but they are not enough.
Till we do not educate the mass and leave the elephants with their home without encroaching them, the tragedy will continue.
I am praying that somehow the elephants escape extinction from man. Thank you.
Thank you for your concern @wandrnrose7.
