My Daily Freewrite Story | Prompt : the last battle
Hello Fellow Writers!!
I Hope You all are doing well. Today I am participating in the daily prompt challenge by @mariannewest in the #Freewriters community which was organized by @daily.prompt . The prompt for the challenge is the last battle. Here is my input for the challenge.
Story: Freedom
Once there was an army general who fought many battles in the field and saw many of his friends die during the various battles he was afraid to make new friends due to his previous experience as he thought it would be more painful for him to lose his friends rather than a simple soldier. he received a mission from his command centre to protect the people who were kidnapped by the terrorists living in the mountains he called his team which consisted of 30 soldiers. He led the team and fought with many terrorists to safely recover the people from them. He divided his team into 2 groups 1st group saved the people while the 2nd group engaged the terrorists on the battlefield field he was in the 1st team he safely took the people and sent them to the camp but when he returned he saw a timer bomb. He asked his teammates to move from this place but during returning from the battlefield his foot was struck in the vehicle. He knew that it was impossible for him to return towards the camp so he stood tall and smiled towards his teammates and said "Finally, my last battle!" and the bomb exploded.
