THE REPUBLIC DAY SCOUT
Well, this time the freewrite is going to be my personal one! I always feel pity for myself whenever I hear the word 'Scout'
Today's prompt: Scout
Our school students were practicing for a roadshow to be conducted on 61 republic day of India. We have two days of time to practice our respective programmes.
I was instructed to deliver a speech about the great freedom fighters who led India towards independence. But many of my friends are in the Scout team. They would march like soldiers behind the country Flag. Of course that's the goosebumps time.
I wanted to be a part of the team but my teachers stubbornly ordered me to prepare for the speech. I'm a kid that time and I couldn't tell my vain of being away from my friends to them.
Anyways I don't want to let my teachers down, the day has come and I did the task given to me.
The day really happened very well and our school stole hearts of many people. People spectated our roadshow and they rained us with admiration.
