Changing careers.. work friend is gone..
When you think your good workmate is on holidays but actually he has had a mid life change of career choosing to go touring across australia rather than his office job in event operations..
This story seems out of character because he has a family, and a child why would someone go traveling across australia at that age and place in life?
Most people want to settle down at that age.. start of the thirties..
We had someone replace him at work.. i thought oh, he must be having a holiday.. then i see a job advert for his position at another company and think oh he must have changed companies.. but i did in no way ever assume he was going on tour. I would have a hard time with doing that let alone a family man..

We just never know why people made the decisions the way they did. Must be something that trigger the change. Many a times people made the wrong moves and will affecting their lives in a big way. But of course we cannot tell others what they should or not to do. It's their lives.
