The Illuminati was founded in a time away from us by Adam Weishaupt of Bavaria (now part of Germany) in 1776. He was tired of the limitations of all the conventional religions and beliefs that developed at the time. Then he saw Freemasons who had stood first as inspiration. At first he thought of joining Freemasons, but eventually he founded his own secret society that focused more on rituals.

In 1784, the group grew to 3000 members. As the Illuminati develops, the hierarchy becomes more complex. Initially there are only 3 levels of excellence with the test, then into 13 levels that must be passed.

  1. Basic ideology

Originally in 1776, the Illuminati were a group of free-thinking and open-minded people. Though their minds were considered radical at the time, their minds were no different from the liberal view of the modern era. They firmly oppose their organized religion and structure, and then put more pressure on them by virtue of morals. Their radical views included suicide and support for abortion, but this was strongly rejected by the government. They have a group branch for women because other secret groups are exclusively for men. The Illuminati fiercely opposed the monarchy in Bavaria, that is why they were explicitly forcibly shut down and disbanded (according to what historians understand).

The Illuminati structure grows more complex as the number of members increases. Yes, initially there are only three levels of classes. But they end up applying more rituals and raising ceremonies. The first class has 4 stages -Initiate, Novice, Minerval, and Illuminatus Minor. Until the person reaches Minerval stage, he is not allowed to use voice rights or attend any Illuminati meetings. The second class consists of 4 stages as well - Apprentice, Fellow, Master and Illuminatus Major; which has been applied in its predecessor, Freemasons. While the last class consists of 4 stages - priest, prince, magus and king. The king is at the top of the organization and dictates orders to all those directly beneath him.
