Will Ferrell is HILARIOUS - Steemit is a FAMILY

I couldn't believe Will Ferrell made a guest appearance to my family's Christmas party. It was so unexpected.

Okay so it's not really Will Ferrell. That's actually MY DAD! On the left is my best friend from Germany -LessHorrible- and I'm on the right.

My family takes christmas extremely seriously and we compete with giving gifts. Every year my dad quotes Michal Scott from The Office and says this when he hands me my present: "Presents are a great way to say 'I love you this many dollars worth.'" My dad never watched the office, but the few clips I showed him he's always remembered and still quotes that show all the time. I showed him that scene 7-8 years ago and he has quoted it every single birthday or christmas since then.

My father is just as funny as Will Ferrell and is constantly mistaken as him. I'm very grateful to have such a great father. However, I understand that lots of people don't have dads, which makes me sad. I didn't do anything to deserve my life, so my goal is to help families that aren't as blessed as I am. People tend to forget that the holidays can really suck for those less fortunate. If you happen to 'have a great life with a great family' then go do something nice for someone who doesn't have a great family. It will mean a lot to them.

Families ARE important.
