@polebird: ๐ Party pups! A barking good time at the dog party ๐
Have you ever been to a dog party? I can now say I have! My friend threw a party where all dogs were invited as well as their humans, and boy was it quite interesting! This was the first dog party I had been invited to, so of course I accepted the invitation. Between my friends, we have lot of dogs. Definitely would say we are dog lovers. I myself have Kylie and Watson as you all know. One of my friends is the proud mom of 3 dogs.
A lot of the dogs at the party were little dogs. There was A LOT of barking. Watson my shih-tzu maltese mix is actually very quiet and veryyyy laid back, so he looked quite shocked the entire time. He did not know why the others were making such a ruckus. There wasn't as much play between all the dogs (especially the small ones) as I thought there would be. The largest dog, Hank (German shepard) looked like he didn't really know what to do with the small dogs either. Kylie (my border collie) played fetch for an hour with all my human friends, LOL.
In all, it was a pretty cute party with a lot of furry friends, and us humans had a lot of fun too! There were cute decorations, such as the doggy balloons that you see in the photo below. We also had hot dogs to go with our dog party!

Those balloons are awesome!! Such a cute idea. This reminds me of the 101 Dalmatian themed bday party I had growing up. My mom put the snacks in (clean!) dog dishes, the kids had paper collars instead of name tags...it was epic.
I am paying dog tax with a very awkward dog, perhaps he and Watson would get along, although this one gets very talkative when the mailman shows up.

This is Nลซk, the Australian cattle dog (likely mix) and he does not have much chill, unless he's tired. Maybe he and Watson can hang out after he's worn out at doggy daycare!
HAHA ok hes probably more like my border collie kylie, although kylie's only dog friend is basically watson. She's only ever not gotten into a fight with two other dogs in all these years.
Nuk is very social with other dogs from going to doggy playgroups from a young age and regularly going to daycare, but its totally a personality thing. He is way more wary of other people, especially men since he has only ever lived with women but generally only gets upset when he's "guarding"the house by barking at people walking on the sidewalk.
I'm glad that Kylie has a buddy like Watson to play with. Border collies are such a smart breed that it's tough to give them enough attention on your own, so those too can keep busy together haha
