The Nun : Valak story

We watched this movie last September 8, Saturday at Robinsons Mall Antipolo. The Nun is a prequel of the movie Conjuring, this is the latest horror flick within the Conjuring universe. I watched all of the Conjuring movies and Annabelle that is why i also need to watch it to know Valak's origin.

The Nun is under the direction of Corin Hardy. Under the Conjuring universe Valak ,for me is the creepiest demon, given the fact this demonic entity is personified as a nun. The Nun was so different from the other four film franchise, basically because conjurings location is in the house or apartment while the Nun is set in a very remote area, in the heart of Romania and in a medieval monastery.

Hardy's direction is pretty good, He effectively making the Nun a fun and entertaining horror movie. The Nun is very much a gothic horror one. This is a story of Father Bichir and and sister Irene coming to the cursed Romanian covenant for their investigation.
It's how the two religious person fight and defeat Valak. I also like the character of Frenchie where in he is the one who saved them and has a funny roles and script. This is also a revealing a bit more of Valak's backstory. The Nun is 96 minutes long and is rated R for terror, violence and bloody images.
This movie will provide you enough creepy and atmospheric horror ingredients to be a perfectly horror flick.

After the movie, asusual we ate out favorite Paotsin flavors with Laksa and Milk tea that is a perfect combination for me. 😋😁
