Presentation of farm tools to women in agriculture in Ghana

Some few weeks ago, @girlsfoundation visited women who are into agriculture. This in reference to its purpose to help promote farming activities most especially with women in agriculture. A visit was made to Ghana to see and congratulate women who deserve to be motivated in doing so. Farm tools got purchased which were going to be presented to the women @girlsfoundation visited in Ghana. You may find the post relating to the purchase of farm tools for the distribution HERE.

It is such a great news knowing that, it is "Farmers Day" in Ghana. This is when the nation takes time to give recognition to farmers who have worked so hard to ensure food in the country. @Girsfoundation made a visit today to Ghana to offer the bought farm tools to the women it assured to support in Ghana. This foundation which is led by @faetee and with the support of @raymond and @mcsamm presented some basic farm tools to this industrious woman who has worked so hard to feed herself and the family. However, her young daughter @girlsfoundation met at the farm when it made the first visited took the presentation on her mum's behalf as the mother wasn't so well.

Indeed steemit has promised to make lives much better here in our days. It is of this view that girls foundation has made much effort to support women who are into agriculture here in Africa and beyond. Below are the details of bought items that were presented to the woman and her family on this special day as farmers are celebrated in Ghana.

It is such a good news to see steem putting smiles on the faces of people most especially women and young girls who have devoted to working so hard in agriculture. We hope to see more and much improvement in their working activities. To help them bring more food and better living condition here in Africa. The aim of this project is to encourage and motivate women in agriculture and also provide them with essential farming tools. The goal of this project is to help little farmlands grow to something big in the nearest future. This project will help increase the productivity of the farmlands we will be visiting and it will also serve as an avenue to promote the steem blockchain.

About girls foundation

The girls foundation is a project set up to enlighten young ladies of their norms and value, advocate for the girl-child, encourage and support them with the little we can.We believe the girl-child can bring about change in our society. • Rape free society- Rape is a sexual assault carried out against a person forcefully. The rate at which girls are being raped these days is alarming, we are also humans and we deserve respect. Most rape victims suffer from trauma and post-traumatic stress disorder, serious injuries and in some cases pregnancy and sexually transmitted infection.
• Fight against domestic violence- it is also known as intimate partner violence, domestic abuse or family violence ; it's a form of violence committed in a domestic or family setting, such as in marriage or cohabitation. It is called intimate partner violence when committed by spouse and called family violence when it involves the kids, parents or elders. Domestic violence has several effects on human that's is why girls foundation is picking it up. Effects of domestic violence
  includes :
  1.) Physical effect: This involves bruises round the victim, broken wrists, shortness of breath etc.
  2.) Mental effect: This involves PTSD (post-traumatic stress),
  pressing, drug abuse, suicidal thoughts etc.
  3.) Emotional effect: This involves feeling unworthy, hopeless and not motivated etc.
  4.)It affects the development of the kids and they suffer from
  depression, anxiety, fear etc
  Domestic violence always produces an international cycles of
  violence. Funny, only few people see themselves as being abused; considering it as family matter.
• Girl education: Some people still believe that training a female child is a waste of time and money 'cause they feel she'd still end up in the kitchen, well sorry to disappoint you but ladies can do much more than just being house wives, lots of educated women are doing fine in our society today. Every child deserves equal right to education.We don't think anyone should be treated differently because of their gender, we are all one and it's high time we realized that.

CONCLUSION:-

The primary aim of the girls foundation is to enlighten youths and increase the awareness of the steem blockchain and steemit. Giving girls the ability to create wealth with their writing skills, without waiting for the government intervention.
