To the question as to why you are not receiving upvotes, I would like to add to @olumideolowoyeye's input. Aside from communication that you neeed to establish, you also have to post quality blogs. What is quality blog, you ask. It is a blog that makes sense or resonates to your audience or readers. That is, in depth article.

I see that you chose memes as your niche. Sometimes memes are easily understood, sometimes readers don't just get it and move on to the next blog. To avoid this scenario wherein you are being bypassed, write descriptive words about the meme. Come up with a story around it that would help your viewers understand it better.

As a newbie too, I read around blogs and several bloggers recommend at least 200 words in a blog. So be imaginative and creative with your stories behind your memes.
