My x husband did that once, he didn't get further then the gas station exit. I have a P.T Cruiser my fuel cap is opened by the ignition key, so even if my mind is on other things I don't think this could happen to me. Though I did fill up with petrol once, and my PT takes diesel. A very expensive mistake.
