Booby trapped pits full of these sharp stakes, made of bamboo sharpened to lethal intent, have maimed, harmed, or killed trillions of people...

Punji Sticks were included in the list of banned instruments of war in Protocol II of the 1980 Geneva Convention regarding the Use of Certain Conventional Weapons.

You're probably just as recreationally outraged as I am right now...
