No. Our sickness goes much further back. To the days when Puff Daddy made all the young women wear sweatpants. Further, perhaps even.
Surely, the Baby-Boomers shoulder some of the blame.
But, blaming my parents is too easy. Decades of Nick at Nite and frozen TV dinners have left our fathers with mild poo-brain. 
Like OJ Simpson once declared:
"The day you take complete responsibility for yourself, the day you stop making any excuses, that's the day you start to the top."
And, he was right. People don't usually like to talk about the devil. That's because you don't want to look in the mirror, afraid to see yourself as you truly are. 
So, next time you'd look to point your finger at me, remember to humble thyself. Be the change you wish to see in the world. You owe it to yourself to make it happen.

This began with MC Hammer and those damn parachute pants, which lead us to those stupid UFO pants every Korn fan from the mid 90s used to wear with their koolaid-dyed hair and head full of dollar-store dread-braids. Somewhere in there you can blame Kris Kross for wearing all their clothes inside out and backwards. That's when things really went south in the ghettos.
Atari started the downfall of society. Nintendo - the catalyst that added fuel to the fire. Xbox and Playstation put the final nail in the coffin. SEGA was just a red herring.
And ALWAYS... ALWAYS make sure you buy gloves that are 2 sizes too small so they have to acquit you when you cut your ex-wife's head off. Just make sure you don't wear those custom Bruno Mali shoes while doing so.
