RE: Global Game Jam Experience - Part II - Tabletop Redemption

in #game-jam7 years ago

A part of me is weary and really wants to just give in and join in on that...

Another part of me is just repulsed by the hollowness of attributing wealth unto myself under the pretense of curation. Its simply not something that I should decide upon. And I know that I'll remain adrift as a result - but that will have to be OK. I will keep my eyes open to other opportunities.

Thank you for your comment!

Now you made me feel dirty.... I'm typing this showering in the corner all dressed up like in the movies.

I've said it before and I'll say it again.

I hold nothing against those who opt to do so.

I lay the blame for the situation squarely at Steemit Inc's feet for DESIGNING this situation into it either willingly or implicitly through their inaction at seeing the writing violently spurted upon the wall as if straight from the jugular of the Steemit-that-could-have-been. ;c)

And I hardly need to explain why they'd do it - such is almost as clear as the writing itself. The current Steemit is the perfect configuration for manipulating the flow of attention and wealth quite independently of worthiness. The reason why the masses are "fine" with this is because they can dabble in the same practices if they choose, while those who crafted and/or bought/mastered the game make a killing of it at the expense of all others.

I'll be clear. I am 'not' better than you in this. The expected result of self-inflicted obscurity shall see to it that this is so.

I am merely (very) stubborn. My time will come... when something more honest than Steemit comes along.

Wishing you well @spiritualmax.

I'll be there with you I'm sure :D
Plus, you have my discord if you find it and I fail to notice, dont want to get late to the party :D
