For 10 iost, you can go for the mini jackpot. This is 1% of the contract balance while the big jackpot is 10% (need to play 100iost).
My strategy is to go for the mini jackpot at 10iost per game. Every-so-often I do 1 game of 1000 iost that I claim at the minor prize line for 1200iost on a win.
