Review of the mobile game "Robot Warfare: Battle Mechs"

For the first time I present to your attention a review of the mobile game. Today we will talk about the multiplayer shooter, but not about the simple, but about the huge "bellows". Meet - Robot Warfare: Battle Mechs!

The struggle of huge robots is one of the eternal milk cows of entertainment media: movies, anime, books and games. In each of the categories, you can name at least a dozen titles that somehow exploit furs. Of course, mobile games, as one of the most rapidly developing industries, I did not remain without my examples. One such is Robot Warfare: Battle Mechs.

For such an undisclosed name, a rather interesting project lurks, which already at the first launch can boast of pleasant graphics. It is pleasant. There are not any stars from the sky. However, 3D models of combat vehicles have been developed at a sufficiently high level, which pleases the eye. In the hangar and in battle we have a very clear texture of the combat robot, but here with the cards themselves there are some problems. They are terribly short of various effects: from shots to anything else like that. On the other hand, maps are made on the basis of real terrain, more precisely a map, for now. We are facing only the area around Moscow City. I must admit that the local color at first is very pleasing, but still boring, in my opinion. Start with only one card in the cage error, but the developers promise to add new locations in the updates, and they do not believe I do not have.

With what lack is not exactly, so it's with the robot models. They were brought into the game more than two dozen, each of which has unique weapons and its own characteristics, which, among other things, can be improved. Rate of fire, damage, jump height - three main characteristics that are amenable to improvement, but now you will not be able to change the armament on robots. The machines are upgraded in general, there are no removable modules. So before choosing any fur, you should think carefully and compare them among themselves. To improve the need for silver and gear. Both currencies can be knocked out in battle.

As in any self-respecting free game, there is donat. However, there was not a real gap between premium buns and what can be obtained free of charge. On the other hand, if you are used to playing free games, then you still have to deal with grinding. And then everything again rests on the problem of lack of cards.

Choosing and improving your bipedal iron horse you have to choose a game mode, which in the game five pieces. The first and most obvious is team battle. In it, you have to participate in the battles of five to five players. The second is the capture of points in which you have to fight for control of the penalty. The third mode is the horde, in it one of the teams will have to reflect the waves of the players. Also there is a banal dedmatch, in which everyone is for himself and "his own game," in which we can have fun with friends. Combines these modes of the duration of the match, which in each is five minutes and, frankly, I have not yet decided whether this decision is good or not. On the one hand, such a restriction seems a little too much for the ears and there is a situation when you are thrown into battle, to the end of which half a minute or a minute. On the other hand, it's still mobile gaming, when you are on the bus from a stop about ten minutes, you can definitely count on having two full parties to play and there will be no problem when it's time to go out and the fight is still on.

In general, I hope that the developers will be able to solve the problem of matchmaking and then the decision can be safely called successful. As for the gameplay - it's all pretty arcade. Each robot has an assortment of machine guns, which shoots automatically, it is only to point at the enemy. And the second type of weapons, which depends on the robot itself. There are rockets, a shotgun, a laser, a machine gun, an automatic weapon, a plasma cannon, and even a large-caliber rifle. All these weapons must be handled manually.

In the description for the game it is written that it will be necessary to invent some tactics. But no, the battles are dynamic, fast, pretty fun and there's just no place for tactics. This is not a minus. For many, the dynamics is more than a plus.

As a result, we have quite a curious game: huge bellows, a variety of weapons, a wide variety of modes in which each of you can find something for yourself. All this has two main problems: a lack of cards and a strange matchmaking. The project has great potential, the developers have great ambitions. I want to believe that with time the problems will be corrected.

Thank you for attention!
