Game Of Thrones S07E01 "Dragonstone"/ Juego de tronos S07E01 "Rocadragón"

It's been a long - really long - time since the last episode of Game of Thrones but this Sunday the fans of the medieval series had a blast from the first scenes.

Ha pasado mucho -demasiado tiempo- desde el ultimo episodio de Game Of Thrones pero este domingo los fans de la serie medieval nos dimos gusto desde las primeras escenas.

1. Arya begins checking her list

From the beginning we received a dosis of what we like the most about GoT: Cruel death, massive, vengeful and even senseless: A feast at the Frey House, which reminds of of the Red Wedding. Walder Frey proposes a toast for the allies, followed by a bittersweet speech, remembering the Red Wedding and the slaughter committed by all of them in that very room, but he didn't remember it in a glorious way, but more like a grotesque victory. Then every one starts to fall as flies: Poisoned in the wine of each and every member of the Frey clan. Calls to attention that the young Frey wife is forbidden of drinking it, then, seeing everyone vomiting blood Arya says: "The one wolf alive and the sheep are never safe". Pity the fact of that scene not lasting longer, but then in the following scenes we saw a renewed Arya, even smiling. Is revenge a cup best served cold?

1. Arya comienza a pasar lista.

Desde el principio recibimos una dosis de lo que mas nos gusta en GoT: Muerte cruel, masiva, vengativa y a veces sin sentido: Festín en casa de los Frey, nos recuerda no en vano la boda roja. Un brindis para todos los aliados propone Walder Frey seguido de un agridulce discurso, recordando la boda roja y la masacre que cometieron entre todos en esa misma sala, pero no lo rememoró de una manera gloriosa, mas bien como una victoria grotesca. Enseguida todos empiezan a caer como moscas: veneno en el vino de todos y cada uno de los integrantes del clan Frey. Llama la atención que la joven esposa de Frey iba a tomar del vino pero se lo prohiben, luego de esto, viendo a todos vomitar sangre Arya dice: "Cuando un lobo queda vivo, el rebaño de ovejas no está seguro". Una lastima que la escena no se extendió mas, pero se pudo ver en las siguientes escenas una Arya rejuvenecida y hasta sonriente. ¿La venganza es una copa que se bebe fría?

2. The White Walkers came for us.

Slowly, very slowly, slower than the second come of Christ to earth but they come. The writers made sure to remind us in Bran's visions that the gusts of winter are here with their mysterious White Walkers, stronger than ever.

2. Los caminantes blancos vienen por nosotros.

Lento, muy lento, mas lento que la segunda venida de Cristo a la tierra pero se acercan. Los guionistas se encargaron de recordarnos en las visiones de Bran, que los vientos de invierno ya están acá con sus misteriosos white walkers, mas fuertes que nunca. Al fin un Stark mas llega al muro, esperemos que este protegido y se pueda encontrar con sus hermanos sobrevivientes en Winterfell donde ocurren interesantes tensiones entre Sansa y Jon. No olvidemos la intervención de la gran Lady Mormont y los comentarios de Sansa cuando afirma que aprendió mucho de Cersei (con Little finger en mente)

3. Cersei is looking for allies.

Cersei Lannister sitting on the Iron Throne, desperate for allies because she knows best to be surrounded by dangerous enemies. We saw her receive Euron Greyjoy in her court, but didn't accept the support of his famous fleet to defeat Daenerys Targaryen and his nephews, Yara and Theon Greyjoy, in exchange for a VERY high price: Cersei's hand, not without getting Jaime Lannister's wrath thanks to a couple of untasteful remarks. Cersei, to make sure, asked for a token of loyalty, to which he replied he will come back with a gift she would need. What gift might he bring? It sure is something of importance. My theories: Daenery's head; the missing Gendry, the last heir of the Baratheon lineage (sprouts Cersei herself extinguished) or maybe a dead coming back to life. Let's not forget the intervention of the great Lady Mormont and Sansa's comments when she says that she learned a lot from Cersei (with Little finger in mind)

3. Cersei esta buscando aliados.

Cersei Lannister sentada en el trono de hierro, esta desesperada por aliados porque sabe que esta rodeada de peligrosos enemigo. La vimos recibir a Euron Greyjoy en su corte, pero no aceptó el apoyo de su famosa flota para derrotar a Daenerys Targaryen y sus sobrinos, Yara y Theon Greyjoy no sin pasar un presupuesto MUY alto: la mano de Cersei, no sin antes ganarse la ira de Jaime Lannister con un par de sarcasmos. Cersei, para estar segura, pidió muestra de lealtad, a lo cual él respondió que regresaría con un regalo que ella necesitará. Que regalo le traerá? de seguro que es algo de suma importancia. Mis teorías: La cabeza de Daenerys, el desaparecido Gendry, ultimo heredero de la estirpe Baratheon (retoños que la misma Cersei extinguió) o quizás algún muerto que regresa.

4. Ed Sheeran as guest star

Ed Sheeran made a short appearance as a soldier of the Lannister house who was sitting with others and singing a song that references the death of Shae in hands of Tyrion Lannister. The song goes something like this:

Down on from his hill on high
Oh the winds and the steps......
He Rode to a woman's side
For she was a secret treasure
She was his shame
And his Bliss
And a chain and a keep are nothing
compared to a woman's kiss
For hand's of gold are always cold
A woman's hand's are warm
For hand's of gold are always cold

We were expecting Arya to kill everyone in that scene, but that did not happen.

4. Ed Sheeran como actor invitado.

Ed Sheeran hizo una corta aparición como un soldado de la casa Lannister que reposaba con otros compañeros entonando una canción que hace referencia a la muerte de Shae en manos de Tyrion Lannister. La canción va mas o menos asi:

Todo esa escena estuvimos esperando que Arya los aniquilara a todos, pero eso no llegó a suceder.

5. Sandor Clegane esta ahora con la hermandad de Thoros de Myr y Beric Dondarrion.

Sandor a través de su no muy apreciado elemento: el fuego, tiene visiones de lo que se aproxima: Los white walkers.

Sandor through his not very appreciated element: Fire, has many visions of what's to come: The White Walkers.

6. Sam's discovery

Sam finds himself in the Citadel doing very unintellectual and degrading tasks. Sometime in the night he enters de forbidden zone of the library, borrows some very precious books and finds out where is the place where the crystals are kept, the crystals that can kill White Walkers. Also talks with a mysterious imprisioned.

6. El descubrimiento de Sam

Sam se encuentra en la Ciudadela haciendo labores muy poco intelectuales y muy degradantes. En un momento por la noche entra en el sector prohibido de la biblioteca y toma prestados algunos valiosos libros y averigua donde está el lugar en el que se encuentran los cristales con los que se pueden matar a los Caminantes Blancos. También cruza unas palabras con un misterioso encarcelado.

7. Daenerys arrives to Dragonstone

Finally the queen Daenerys Stormborn finds her way to Dragonstone, her birthplace. A very emotive arrival with her closest allies including the masterminds Tyrion and Varys. She walks into the abandoned palace, sees the throne and touches the Westeros map, not before tearing off an old Baratheon flag. She tells Tyrion a very suggestive "Shall we begin?"

7. Daenerys llega al poniente

Al fin la reina Daenerys Stormborn llega a su natal Dragonstone. Una llegada muy emotiva acompañada de sus mas cercanos aliados incluidas las mentes maestras de Tyrion y Varys. Entra al palacio abandonado, observa el trono y acaricia la mesa donde se encuentra el plano del poniente, no sin antes arrancar una vieja bandera Baratheon. Le deja a Tyrion un sugestivo "comenzamos?".

The Greyjoys, the Iron Bank of Braavos, the Starks and more power groups will also influence the new Game of Thrones season. Winter has come, may the best house win!

Los Greyjoy, el Banco de Braavos, Los Stark y más grupos de poder también dejarán sentir su influencia en la nueva temporada de "Game of Thrones". El invierno ya llegó ¡Qué gane la mejor casa!
