All you need to know about the XBOX Series X, the new generation Microsoft device

in #games5 years ago

Microsoft announced its flagship device for the next generation, and revealed its official name, XBOX Series X, and this was part of the annual Game Awards 2019 event.

The device that was officially announced carries a new design and new details, we will review it with you in the following lines.

the design

The design of the XBOX Series X differs from the usual design of home appliances, which we have been accustomed to for many years. We do not mention that there was a company that went through a longitudinal and bulky design like this before now.

The device comes in a semi-rectangular design with a longitudinal cut to enter the CDs of Blueray quality and the ventilation comes from the top with a grid that gives the entire side with a green light that expresses the brand.

The device's dimensions are not specified yet, but through the expectations it will come with the same height as the current devices in its vertical position, but the dimensions in width, even when converting the device to the horizontal position will be higher and thicker than any existing device.

However, the device is considered to be 3/4 of the height of the mid tower and a third of the width, which makes it a crisis in its usual position in the place of tables for the receiver and the usual household appliances.

Specifications

So far, the specifications for the device have not been extensively and accurately revealed, but a central processing force of 4 times the original XBOX One and a graphics processing power of twice the XBOX One X has been detected, and if we do the calculations here, we will insist on the number of 12 terabytes or more slightly considering the power of XBOX One X graphical just over 6 terabytes.

But the calculations in the Terra Flop will not be realistic in this generation as the real power of graphical and centralized processors will express the greater efficacy of the development of architectures far beyond the architecture of the current generation.

There are other known details such as the Ryzen central processor, which will be 8 cores and 16 paths, with specifying the type of storage used, which will be NVMe without specifying a specific speed, but it will provide a significant improvement in the download speed compared to mechanical units in the current generation.

Also, the presence of accelerators was confirmed to present the radiation in normal time as usual within the device which is known as Ray Tracing.

Not much has been revealed but here are the leaked details that were talked about immediately before the name of the device was announced.

The hand of control

No major updates were made to the design of the device's control hand, but there were changes that could be noticed immediately and they added the Share button to the new hand, which would help to share photos and videos easily to social networks.

Also, the shares were changed on the controller, and they were made amenable to this available by Elite, which is produced by the company, which gives more control and better than the usual shares.

However, on the whole the control hand comes very similar to the regular control hand in the current generation of the XBOX One.

Date of issue and price

The device will come to us during the holiday season in 2020, which means waiting for it during the month of November, as usual, for the release of home appliances, but the price so far we do not know anything about it and do not expect to see anything related to the price before the E3 2020 exhibition next June

Exclusive games

The first exclusive device games were announced in E3 2019, which is Halo Infinite, and during the Game Awards 2019 event, the second game, Hellblade 2, was announced with very strong fees, and we are waiting for more news on the upcoming exclusives in E3 2020.
