Another game I've enjoyed playing on my Nintendo Switch is Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Having played the older versions of this game, when this game came out in March 2020, I bought it straight away.

This game is great for taking a break and relaxing, with the classic features of fishing, bug catching and diving it really brings nostalgia like many other games I play.
I used to care about what villagers I got on my island but now when I play all I care about is completing the different sections of the museum. I still miss the cafe feature from the old games, hopefully in the next update Nintendo will include it.

One of the new features that makes this game unique to the past games is the pole vaulting game mechanic and the ladder to higher levels. This was great when I first played, but as my island developed I started to use them less and less. Eventually, the game does get repetitive but the seasonal updates keep it alive. I definitely like the style they use for Cherry Blossom season and Winter time.

As always, our player is in debt to Tom Nook in order to upgrade their house, with Tortimer no where to be seen.

Overall, Animal Crossing: New Horizons is great and will definitely be fun to play while traveling!
