ADSactly Game Review - Hitman (2016)
Hitman
Welcome back to another Adsactly game review, this week we catch up with a good old friend of ours, the elusive Agent 47.
Now I don't know if any of you ever watched the 1984 film called, The Last Starfighter? Basically it's about a guy who plays this arcade game and when he beats the top score, he is contacted by the game creator, who then informs him that the game is actually a training program to recruit pilots for a intergalactic alien defense force. You're probably thinking, what the hell does this have anything to do with Hitman? Well nothing, I've just always imagined, what if games like Hitman was actually used as a way to recruit assassins for the secret organizations or governments. Would we ever really know, cue mysterious music.
I have been a fan of the franchise since my first introduction, which was the fourth title in the series, Blood Money on the good old PlayStation 2, which was released back in 2006. I loved it so much I went and got the second game Silent Assassin, but didn't get to deep into it, this was due to graphics being nowhere close to as good as the newer games. After that I skipped Hitman: Trilogy, which was basically the first few games repackaged, then my good friend George borrowed me his copy of Absolution which was on the PS3. So it has been about six years since then and the new installment of Hitman was a pretty epic adventure.
Our story this time begins back in the year 1999, when 47 is being initiated into the International Contract Agency, a secret organization that facilitates assassinations across the world.
Despite showing exceptional aptitude as an assassin, the ICA are unable the find any background information about 47 for the purposes of getting leverage over him. The training instructor intentionally fails 47 on his final exam even though he passes it with flying colours. Luckily 47's handler and fellow trainee, Diana discovers this plot and helps 47 to pass the test a second time round, which then causes the ICA to reluctantly approve his agent status. We then get a awesome cinematic montage of his career as an assassin, that goes through all the previous games in the series, leading up to now.
The real story starts in 2019 when the Shadow Client plans to sell some very sensitive intelligence to two leaders of an international spy ring known as IAGO, which is to take place at a France. Agent 47 is hired by MI6 to prevent the sale by assassinating both IAGO ringleaders, Novikov and Dalia Margolis, at the fashion show in Paris, before the sale goes through.
This new Hitman feels very much like the cult classic, Hitman: Blood Money, but has improved tremendously on most aspects and brought the series a worthy successor.
The developers created the game with the idea in mind that it can be played over and over, each time you are only limited by your imagination as to how you will go about it getting the job done. The prologue training mission will get you well versed with the game mechanics and how important the new revamped disguise system is. In this game the right disguise means everything and will pretty much fool most of those around you indefinitely, and is not tied to an in-game ability resource or skill tree. Another great improvement was the artificial intelligence of the non-player characters, they somehow felt a little bit more real, where as in previous games even the slightest suspicion would get you shot on sight. The game has an added new ‘Opportunities’ menu will really help you track down the different ways you are able to approach the situation. The levels also feel much more populated than they did before, and there is far less people standing around aimlessly, it almost feels like everyone has purpose, which brings the game to life.
"The Agent program was initiated in August of 1967 by a man named Peter Aaron Litvenko. It's purpose was to create the perfect killing machine. Human beings without emotion, or fear, or remorse. The resulting subjects were called, Agents. The Program was a success. But the price of creating men without humanity, was Litvenko's conscience. Applying his brilliant mind to his flight, he vanished. Fearing that it would be exposed, the Govt shut down the Program, and surviving Agents drifted into shadows. Realizing it's potential, many tried to re-start the Program. All failed. So they focused their efforts on finding the one man who could." - Diana
I was rather skeptical when the game first launched with the new episode format, would there be enough to do in only one mission?
This was one of the main reasons I only recently picked up this game, and I was actually pleasantly surprised at how much play time you can get out of just this first mission. The added bonus is that each and every time you play the mission it's not just that you get to do it completely differently, but you get rewarded with new gear and new mission starting locations.
The biggest issue I had with this game was the insanely long loading times, not sure if it was just because I was playing this on console, but it got rather annoying. At the end of the day, If you are fan of Agent 47 and the series then you are going to enjoy this, visually it unfortunately does not come close to some other the newer games out there.
Hitman is an episodic stealth video game developed by IO Interactive, who is responsible for the entire Hitman series so far and a not so famous series called Kane & Lynch.
The game is published by Square Enix and released in January 2017, and available on Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The game is made up of nine different episode which were periodically released monthly after the initial release. I've seen a few special deals on this in the PlayStation store at some really bargain prices, so no need to worrying that buying all nine episodes will break the bank. A sequel titled Hitman 2, will be released on 13 November 2018.
I give Hitman a rating of 7/10

Hitman is beautiful graphically and the Artistic Design is just beautiful, several ways to assassinate his or his targets, maps big enough and work very well, we find for the fans of the license like me our agent 47 <3, the duration of life is quite long anyway if you are a perfectionist like me to finish the game in total they need a 50-70 hours of play see much more and simple and effective interfaces like a good old hitman after in negative points that's the economic system more than doubtful and a rather careless AI but that does not prevent me from having fun.
I agree, it was a fun game to play. They could do a lot more when it comes to the AI, let's hope the upcoming Hitman 2 does a bit better.
Hitman Absolution actually has a great story, and could have been amazing. To me, the only really serious flaw is the checkpoint system, which kills off any motivation for exploring the levels. Save games would have been so much better. Unfortunately, this flaw is a deal breaker for me. A significant number of levels are very linear. This is serious, and annoying, but not a showstopper. The checkpoints though..
I completely agree, I would have like more freedom to do as I please with missions. Thanks for the comment good sir
Frustrating at times but I really enjoyed this Hitman game and it sits second in my list only to Blood Money. Like any gamer you're about Zero deaths all the time and you'll die pretty easily, if shot at, so you need to think, take your time and you can't really assault rush any missions - that isn't how you're supposed to play. It's purely stealth, 100%.
While there aren't plenty of missions in this game Each mission, if you take your time, will take a while to complete especially if you're one of those completionist types. There's tons to collect, explore, and discover in this game. It's truly a snadbox stealth game and definitely worth buying if you're a fan of stealth, or just gaming in general.
I am a fan of the "bald killer". I remember playing the first part of this wonderful game. I thought a lot about how to quietly eliminate the victim. That is, I always liked the fact that the player has a choice - to poison the victim, to commit a quiet or "loud" murder and also an accident. This killer can hide and try on the costumes of various characters. The main thing is to fulfill the order. In the new series, the forty-seventh had more opportunities.
Victims are most often guarded by personal bodyguards and security systems. Agent 47 is located on the location like a shark floating around the prey and waiting for the right moment :)
In a series of games there are strengths and weaknesses. But this is an atmospheric game that requires the player to think about the consequences. Excellent review, I liked it, thank you!
@adsactly hello 👋 sir Wow, finally, the HITMAN game reviews said, @adsactly, I think the name of the game is understood to be an action game, fire bomb, this game, with some more, @ adsactly sir This game is now playing on the mobile play store Can be found at ????
Unfortunately this specific title is not on mobile, only on PS4, Xbox One and PC.

Hitman has always been a game of sleek elegance in it's gameplay, and core design, and is now rightfully treated to the same refined finesse in its visuals, and extended core design, and gameplay. Look for the Hitman series' velocity to pick up as it embarks on an unprecedented venture in an unpredictable direction.
Hitman has unfortunately done what it seems the majority of modern and mainstream (millions-resonating) games cannot avoid doing. Hitman has adapted to appeal for the larger audience - the wider community - as a tremendous number of humans continue to enter this world, the overwhelming majority of them are a lot closer to 'CoD players' as you put it than anything else in the field of video-gaming. IO Interactive has gratified the millions of transparent.....
Good to see this Hitman games.I will definitely try it.
I guess Hitman fans would be happy now considering the game didn't do away with stealth. Absolution is a game that wants u to experiment with it.. it's pretty challenging.. a much-needed change to the franchise..!!.. Agent 47 gets much more brutal in Absolution.. Way to go IO..!! :) .
Yeah Blood Money and Absolution were in my opinion great, think maybe they took a more easy for all style with this.
love hitman the game and the movie
