Hi everyone Steemiant today I will introduce you this magnificent video game called "Altered Beast" was developed in 1988 by the famous company Sega, this video game was based on a beautiful Greek story where the protagonist will have the task of rescuing the daughter of Zeus who is called Athena. This video game had a lot of receptivity among its fans which made it very famous and for that reason it was developed for different videogame consoles.
Altered Beast is cataloged one of Sega's jewels since it has an extraordinary and very emotional history, and it all starts with a noble warrior who comes from the most aya only to fulfill the orders of the god of gods Zeus, since his beautiful daughter called Athenea has been kidnapped by the evil and cruel Neff, but it will not be so easy because to get to Athenea, the protagonist will have to face countless beasts and creatures which will have to overcome with the help of spiritual balls and other powers which will facilitate the hard road. Without a doubt, Altered Beast has some of the best videogame stories of its time.
Altered Beast has some very good graphics for its time if it could be said, since it has a good size protagonist, with great animations and excellent skills at the time of combat, also has enemies of good size and with different skills which are very realistic and colorful, each level has a different scenario and a high range of color that make good contrast with the theme of the game.
Although for the years 1988 when this title was made, the games did not have a great soundtrack or impacting FX, but despite its pro and its against Altered Beast has a totally addictive melodies throughout the game and makes all the story makes sense Below I will leave you a video with all its melodies so you can enjoy them.
Altered Beast is an excellent videogame and very entertaining when playing, as it has a protagonist full of action and skills that are often addictive when facing enemies, the protagonist has a good size and with a simple control when playing which makes its control very simple

The video game has a very entertaining game mode where the protagonist can become a beast, each one having their own and different skills at the time of combat. Some of them are: the petrification of the bear and the sensational dragon ray, the cueles they are spectacular when realizing them
Altered Beast has a slightly short game time if it could be said as it has a total of 5 levels that for some are usually very short as for others very long, in my personal opinion it exceeds only 40 minutes which They were very funny and entertaining. I recommend it.
In conclusion Altered Beast was very successful for the game console Sega, since it is a video game that has everything you need to please your fans, Altered Beast is a title that has excellent graphics, with a special soundtrack for this type of game and with a unique game mode for that time as the protagonist can become several beasts to beat their enemies more easily. Nice review! I remember loving this game when it first came out in the arcade and I had to have it on the genesis. I bought it and had a blast with it. I was amazed with having arcade graphics at home. That was a big deal back in the day. Honestly though I think this game has aged poorly. It doesnt hold up anywhere as well as the streets of rage series does. Its still great for a quick romp. Thanks for the trip down memory lane @carlossoublette
