A couple of days ago, I posted a blog on ten tips for beginners in Rainbow Six Siege. I said that I would make a ten advanced tips for Rainbow Six Siege players later on. These tips are for payers who already have played the game or know it well. So here are ten advanced tips for Rainbow Six Siege:

  1. Use three speed one armor operators to roam, if you’re lucky, you will get a kill early on in the round to push odds of winning in you favor.

  2. If you are a breacher, (Ash, Thermite, Sledge, or Hibana) go straight to the objective room and open up holes. If you don't know where the room is, stick with one of you teammates.

  3. If your team didn't find the objective room, use a drone to try and find it.

  4. Only one person should be using a drone at once. So they could make callouts to other teammates.

  5. If you are operating a drone after the prep phase has ended, only spend the first minute on it.

6)Know you operators, know which ones are good for what situations and which ones aren't.

7)Pay attention to the other teams operators. Example: If they have Frost, watch where you step.

8)On defense, you have access to all the cameras, use them to spot an enemy but don't scan them. It will let them know that there is a camera near them.

  1. When playing bomb, make openings with impact grenades or nitro cells. This will allow your team to go in and out of both rooms without being spotted. Reinforce the other walls.

  2. Have a minimum of two players in the objective room. So if the enemy rushes the room, there will be most of the defenders there to stop them

What other games should I make a ten tips blog for? Did I miss anything?

Great tips. Sounds like there are some complex battlefield tactics at play here.

Thanks for the info. May make me start playing again.

Tactics, teamwork and communication all are critical. Any advice on selecting the best combination of different skills/abilities across a team of players?
