Pokéfest Chicago & Legendary Raids
Pokéfest is nearing onto us as it gets closer to the weekend, millions of players still wondering what they have in store for such a great event.
They have announced that it will be livestreamed on Twitch.tv for all trainers to tune in and watch the players at Grant Park in Chicago. There has also been some construction going on in the park, working towards the event.
On other news, the most recent update 0.69 has made some changes to the game. The ball texture on catching screen seems to be more metallic looking than before. There also seems to be a bug that other team captains will appear during your appraisal for Pokémon.
Data miners have been indulging themselves into the new update to see what mysteries Niantic have added and their curiosity has once again been rewarded with some strange code.
They have finally uncovered the official picture for legendary raid passes along with some code that seems to be able to disable legendary keys and gyms, along with this they can distinguished because legendary and mythic Pokémon.
There is also some code about hidden and exclusive raids, recently announced trainer registration might have to do with this. Allowing to block legendary/exclusive raids from spoofers.
There also seems to be a new sponsor and encounter type, “.Whisk” and “.Disk”. Nothing has been said to what these may be but as everything else, we’ll just have to wait and see what they have planned for this.
The official Pokémon Go legendary raids trailer was released yesterday, marking it official that we are soon to receive legendary and mythic Pokémon in game. From the trailer we can see that they will have 2 days hatching period with a further 60 hour defeat timer, allowing for plenty of planning and scheduling to happen between communities to work together.
Are you joining in on the Pokéfest celebrations this weekend?
