Battlerite, the next big e-sports?
Battlerite in my opinion has a very promising future for e-sports.
It has high actions games with intense battles and requires a very precise and accurate game play to be at the top.
But where is it heading and when will it be a big e-sports game?
So currently the latest match results from a tournament for Battlerite which had a prize pool of $5000 saw team Broken Comp Sori take the victory with some magnificent game play and execution timings from both finalists.
And Battlerite themselves are hosting tournaments by the name of BattleREKT which boast a $20 000 prize pool.
In an interview with the game developers they stated that they wanted to see Battlerite at the tier 3 e-sports level very soon and are pushing for it by adding more content and game play options from their champions.
On March 7 2018 we will be seeing a new champion come into play with a host of feature changes for Battlerite which hope to push the competitive side even further with a "draft" setup in competitive to allow players to adapt and synergize with their teams rather than just getting queued up with 3 DPS against 2 Melee and a healer, yes we all know it's still winnable, but even in every skill level, people will tel you it's harder.
We hope to see Battle rite in the competitive scene soon but for now, we'll be enjoying a lot of fun from notable streamers of Battlerite on Twitch and the tournaments currently available.
