The release of Dragon Ball FighterZ is fast approaching and the question that has come back often in the mouth of the players is: will there be a Nintendo Switch version? According to early rumors, such a version could actually be in development.

Currently scheduled on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, porting a Switch version of Dragon Ball FighterZ was not on the agenda but the question had been well studied from the side of Bandai Namco. Tomoko Hiroki, the producer of the game, had indeed said that if they continue to receive requests from fans, they could consider releasing a Switch version.

It seems that this version Switch is a little more according to the statements of the insider "DasVergeben" on Reddit: the demands of the players would have been strong enough for Bandai Namco to get to work. According to his information, this version Switch should be marketed next year, around the autumn or winter, well after the console and PC versions.
While it is obviously necessary to take precautions with this kind of rumors before knowing more, we already know that Dragon Ball FighterZ runs on the graphics engine Unreal Engine 4 and that the latter is compatible with the Nintendo console. "DasVergeben" is not his first attempt in terms of revelations: he had already announced several days ago the arrival of Ninja Turtles in Injustice 2 before the information is formalized.

Until more information on this subject, Dragon Ball FighterZ will be released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on January 26th.
