Tri-Force tokens seek to revolutionize how games are played and developed by decentralizing much of the process and devising a reward system governed through Ethereuem smart contracts that can be applied to any platform or environment where games are played. Most importantly, Tri-Force is doing this using a token (TFT), exchangeable within the crypto community and crypto gaming space.

Tri-Force Vs Game Industry Oligarchy

Imagine you go from earning points playing your favorite game to earning bitcoin, or at least something easily exchangeable that holds real world value. I love steemit and getting paid for writing. I love DTube and getting paid to make videos, but we are talking about getting paid crypto to game. If you throw in platforms like steemit, then you can also get paid crypto to market the games being developed.

This concept isn't new. We see it with the use of Linden dollars ($L) in virtual worlds like Second Life. This doesn't mean there is no room for improvement. In fact, it suggests the public is accustomed to the concept but anxious for blockchain technology and Ethereum smart contracts to disrupt, decentralize, and expand it.

The Problem is Real

...as detailed in this conversation between Çyfyr and Regg on the World of Warcraft (Wow) Blizzard forum:

WoW has an estimated 5.5 million players each month, and is one of the most played games in the world. Over Watch has over 20 million players, Hearthstone over 50 million, and League of Legends has a staggering 100 million players registered playing the game. Imagine if all of these games integrated platforms like Tri-Force allowing them to trade tokens across one another, and amateur developers could fund development, fund players, fund marketing, and fund beta testing all on the same level as EA Sports or Rock Star games, only they do it just from a dorm room or their family garage.

The hot new game on the market always seems earth shattering with its adoption rate. This is largely due to its ability to provide progressive features to users. Pokemon Go is a prime example. It was a game that garnered massive crossover appeal and adoption entirely for being the first commercially successful augmented reality game. The problem is once these games establish a workable business models for cult adoption, they become more like a massive freight train and less like a Lamborghini. They get into if it ain't broke, don't fix it mode. Why do you think companies like PayPal and EBay haven't successfully integrated bitcoin into their platforms, despite constant claims of it being around the corner?

Too big to fail becomes too big to adapt and it spawns an urgent need for disruption.

Tri-Force is not the only company seeking to decentralize the gaming industry and put power back in the hands of developers. They may however be the only gaming ICO to date with a legitimate revenue model for gamers to earn as well.

Another thing that caught me off-guard about Tri-Force is the fact that it's based in the UK, which has regulations just as strict as the SEC, making it more legit. It also reminded me of this documentary.

I recently watched a documentary on Netflix titled From Bedrooms to Billions. The film detailed the evolution of the UK indie game developer community during the 70's and 80's. Apparently, there was a thriving video game development community very similar to the crypto-space right now, a legitimate massive cultural movement. Teenagers became rock stars game developers overnight and found themselves on the cover of gaming magazines (also a premature industry at the time) all for programming a popular video game. There was an emerging market for writers to make a living reviewing games and publishers had direct relationship with developers. There was even a community of indie game cover artists that evolved out of the movement. Of course this all died when console games like Nintendo and SEGA changed the standard for how fast games needed to be developed and increased game development budgets beyond the reach of the UK indie community. As not to end on a sad note, the documentary attempted to imply that technology had evolved and young rebellious innovators had the resources to match that of major video game publishers and soon there would be a resurgence of the UK indie gamer renaissance. Of course my first thought was...

But then I got to thinking, what type of social and technological breakthrough would be required for a kid with a new gaming concept, learning UNITY code from web tutorials, to HONESTLY have the same pull in the gaming industry as Rock Star Games, and then it hit me...

Trif-Force Platform Under The Hood

CALLING ALL GAMERS

IT'S TIME TO GET PAID

I am a huge gamer, heavy on Discord, and love games like Dark Net for VR, and lately I have been looking into games that payout cryptocurrency. I found what most have found it's still an emerging market, but when I stumbled across Tri-Force Tokens, admittedly after picking up some (TFT) myself, I wanted to share. The 60% extra tokens during the pre-sale is reason enough to get involved compared to the value proposition, but check out the site yourself at https://triforcetokens.io/

Why I Bought Tri-Force Tokens

While doing my due diligence, here was some of the information I came across that made me think this platform is going to be a big deal.

Public Telegram group || TriForce Tokens Blockchain Gaming Supported by Coventry University Enterprise Ltd, Going Through IP Audit Process With Innovate UK || Bitcoin Talk

SUMMARY: I picked up some tokens. I encourage you to checkout the Tri-Force Token Pre-sale for yourself. As of right now I believe their pre-sale is running for 16 more hours, and those who buy tokens this round get 60% more than everyone else who buys afterwards.

All I am saying is, imagine the look on your ex-girlfriend's face when she sees you roll up in a Mazerati, you bought with tokens gaming out making money in your underwear doing the same thing she left you for in the first place.

I mean, the definition of a professional is someone who makes a living doing a particular trade, so the second you are making enough tokens to make a living, you are officially a Pro-Gamer

And we all know what you will be neck deep in after that.

Sort:

sweet bring on the tokenized world

@freethink you were flagged by a worthless gang of trolls, so, I gave you an upvote to counteract it! Enjoy!!

I love the idea that you could earn currency in one game that you could use in the next one. Or even earning money and sustaining your self by just playing video games. But that is scary in a way, if this goes as planned, we might see some big changes to social and economic parts of our society.

@redbikk read this.

@thegreatavi The exact thought that came to mind when I was writing this was the Elon Musk interview where they ask him,

if we are living in a real life matrix and what is the probability that somewhere along the line a race of beings like us created a virtual reality game that is so realistic it's indistinguishable from reality and we are actually the players of the game and don't know it.

And this is how Musk responded:

Summary: He says there is a "1 in 1 billion chance we are the base reality."

If that is true then it just means we are the VR of someone else's reality and they are the VR of someone else's reality as well. So the question that arises is "when and how will we create our own West World where Bernard can think he is human too?" I think the answer to when is now, and the answer to how is companies like TriForce.

I'm just trying to be the man with the black hat.

nice Post!!!!

Keep it up!!!

;o)

check out eloplay, it's a blockchain based currency that allows you to play competetive games to earn it. It's very smart right now but I think it has potential

I can see similarities with the Electroneum ico (wich i wrote a post about yesterday). Both projects are interesting =) What do you think about Electroneum?

I think Electroneum will do well personally, I think the target audience for both of these currencies are slightly different, with some overlap. Electroneum seems like it'll to be more of the mobile gaming/MMO (games that have a quick turnover) currency while TriForce seems more for someone who plays games religiously over a span of time. I'm eager for both and saddened I didn't get into the pre-sell for TriForce since they both offer value to gamers in one way or another.
The Honour System seems like something that could make MOBAs a less toxic environment.

Will be interesting to follow both projects!

Thanks for letting us know!

Wow very good news for gamers

wow... this is truly amazing... i love the whole idea and concept... i think this is the future of the gaming industry.. thank you for sharing, will definitely be getting my own share of the triforce token

You got my vote and a resteem :]

@imbritish: This comment is for your benefit so you don't find others downvoting or flagging you.

I have noticed that you have made a number of very short comments on other blogs, which are similar in style to the one above. They don’t really add anything to the discussion of the topic.

Please help keep Steemit free of spam posts.

If you like a post, it is generally sufficient to upvote it unless you want to join in the debate.

Short comments like “awesome”, “nice post” “amazing post” or “really helpful” are generally not seen as part of the debate on the topic ,and if repeated across multiple posts, may be interpreted as spam.

Asking other people to upvote or follow you is also counter-productive and irritating. They may downvote, mute, or flag you.

Downvotes or flags can lower your reputation, can result in the removal of rewards, and may result in your posts not being seen by others.

Don’t worry, I haven’t flagged or downvoted you. I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt that you were genuinely trying to encourage the poster. An upvote would have been sufficient.

I never reward short comments.

I often reward intelligent comments. I have a lot of Steempower. An upvote from me is worth hundreds of times a normal upvote. I hope I can reward you for intelligent and thought provoking posts in the future.

Thanks for give us great knowledge man 😊😊

Whaaaaaaat super nice initiative! gonna buy some tokens!
