That's more or less our goal. We want to set up an open mic that anyone can contribute to. And most importantly, this is a great way to get to know your fellow members!

Topic of the week:

Was it you? Was it your friend? Were you talking too much smack online and someone up and left? Did you get banned from an online server because of your antics? Or did you pull a Leeroy Jenkins.... (WoW players are ALL too familiar with this one)...

Sound off in the comments below, and let us know what you think about posts like these. If you like them, let us know! If you don't like them, let us know. You know which ones we'll listen to and which ones we'll ignore. (kidding, kidding...)

I'm not much of a rager or quitter really (#zenlife #mindfulness :-) )

But obviously I've been upset over video games plenty of times, I'm just not the type to throw my controller against the wall.
But I've known to punch the cushions in the couch real hard :-D

Probably it has happened once or twice in Monster Hunter: World recently.

But there was one experience that basically made me quit a game entirely in rage.
I've always been a huge fan of the Halo series, and I've played all of them. Including a whole lot of PvP in Halo 2 and Halo 3 especially.

So I was really looking forward to the next project from Bungie: Destiny.
The PvE stuff didn't really grab my attention at all, so I figured I'd try my hand in the PvP. This was the new game, from the guys that made Halo. How could it not be fully awesome right?

I've never had a more humiliating and unfun experience in my life.
The time to kill was insane, and it felt like I couldn't even spawn in to get a feel of the maps, before I'd be dead and waiting to respawn.
I was used to "true skill" and similar systems, that would make sure that as a n00b, you're not just paired up against the best players in the world.
On the surface at least, Destiny had none of that.

I was so mad, I even made a Reddit post about it: https://www.reddit.com/r/DestinyTheGame/comments/2gctlf/jumping_into_the_crucible_for_the_first_time_is/

And that was it, I basically didn't play Destiny after that.
But I did return for The Taken King expansion, and was completely hooked, but that's another story ;-)

I remember one time when I was young I got super mad playing Super Mario Bros. The Lost Levels.

Another time, I was playing Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage and was getting super frustrated at this one minigame in Magma Cone where you have to catch crystal popcorn with Hunter. The games camera and controls REEEALLY show their age there...

Any other time I get mad when I lose in competitive Pokemon. Not because I lose, but more when people banter me and talk down to me because of the Pokemon I use.

My recent rage quit moment was when I played multiplayer mode in Mobius Final Fantasy. There are four players in each team who each have a role in battle like tank, healer & attacker.

The game is turned-based and has a timer so if you don't make a move in 20 secs your turn is forfeited. So there's this player who's supposed to be the attacker, everytime it's his turn he doesn't do anything and just waits for the timer to finish ticking. The rest of us were trying hard to beat the boss but the asshole was doing nothing! He was basically just freeloading!

I was the healer of the team and without the healer it's pretty much game over for the others so I "ragequit". I wasn't going to let some freeloader do nothing and get items from our win (we were doing fine without him unexpectedly).
