Best Gaming Posts for the 13th of June
Wow! The first day when I have less picks then the previous day. Guess it was bound to happen sometime. Hopefully tommorow there will be many more great posts!
disclaimer
Posts from @kralizec and @tygergamer will not be considered for these, because Kralizec is the one making the selections for these and Tygergamer is also a long trailee. This doesn't mean their posts aren't good, just that they will not be mentioned in these posts.

Next up is something a bit more casual. A nice post about 6 games you can actually play through Google Search by @protrado
thanks for including my post it is really helpful
Now I remember where I stole the idea from to make daily posts about the articles I read :D
Yeah these posts make an insane amount for what they are actually doing.
Hey deva, a technical question: How do you link posts with images?
I know how to make images to a link putting [] brackets around it like you do with text. But how do you get the pictures? Do you just Screenshot and crop them?
I usually just copy the link and paste it in... Sometimes I'll do a screen grab with like a clipping tool or something like greenshot. I tend to still use the Snipping Tool in windows most of the time though greenshot is a lot better and I really need to remember to start using it. If I need more than just the clip I usually copy it into photoshop and do whatever I want there and paste it or drag it into my post.
There are other methods. You can copy an image link and get its url and embed that in your posts with
< img src="url of the image" />
without the extra space after the < and before the > I added those spaces so it would ignore the html.
I make clickable images + text by using html as well. I prefer it in some cases over using markdown.
< a href="url to go to when you click the link >
Text for the link...
image if I want one
< /a> for the end of the link... everything between the initial a href and the final /a will be made clickable and will go to the address in the HREF when you click it.
Did that answer your question?
thank you! This helps a lot, I was still dragging images or copy pasting the image url and prayed for markdown to help me :D.
I will make some test runs on an old post of yours, so we don't spam @gaming-trail san's comment section.
I want to use it for my Politics Today post this evening, but I will eat something and wake up properly before I get down and dirty, well to quickly try the 2 html commands:
Good times. This everyone is a newspaper thing is really something I want to nourish, linked your acc btw
Aight, this should help do make my post look at least half way decent. I will holla if I encounter any problems. Thx, buddy.
The being able to drag, load, and copy and paste images is actually a new feature as of a couple of months ago. Prior to that I used HTML to do all my images and tended to upload them to imgur and then use that link in my post.
So steemit is slowly but surely adding new features.
for some reason the < a/> does not end the link for me, here is what i wrote with space in < a>
< a href=https://steemit.com/@dwinblood>

Slash comes before the a
HTML always starts with a beginning and an ending. It kind of acts like containers where you set what is inside of the container.
An ending is always /containername
where < a href=""> the container is actually A the HREF is just a variable for that container. So /a is the end for that container.
A I believe originally stood for Anchor.
Also it is case sensitive. So keep the actual html parts lower case. What you have in the quotes and such and inside the containers can be upper and lower case as appropriate, but the html commands themselves should be lowercase.
That URL
Should be done like this
What you want your link to say
Its called Content Curation. Lots of people do it. It works because a lot of users don't have the time to read everything, so a curated posts that guides them to the top content it helpful.
Yeah content curation is what ALL of us do when we vote. This is actually called content aggregation.
As to it working because people don't have time to read a lot of things, that makes sense so they are being a content aggregator service so that people do not have to read a lot of things to find them.
