To be honest, the majority of games I have played have very disappointing endings. They are either cliffhangers or the game at that point is so convoluted that the ending is sorta thrown out there. This is one of the reasons I rarely care about the overarching story and prefer to focus on characters in narrative driven games.

A couple examples are Mass Effect, Dragon Age, Persona 3/4 among others. Good characters, but I couldn't really care about the stories of those games and the endings weren't very satisfactory.

I think one of the best game endings are Life Is Strange. but might make you feel very sad...

Telltale's The Walking Dead ending is amazing too, but it's a cliffhanger so it's like the examples you posted.
