11-11: Memories Retold, an artistic experience that plunges into History
The emotional journey during the First World War
The recent collaboration between Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe, Aardman Studios and DigixArt will give birth to 11-11: Memories Retold, an artistic narrative adventure set during the First World War.
The game will present a unique graphic style, aimed at transmitting to the players emotions and deep sensations.
In the project will be involved authors, developers and composers of great talent and the major exponents of DigixArt, Aardman and Bandai Namco are very enthusiastic about the touching and engaging gaming experience that will be 11-11: Memories Retold.
When asked about the game, Yoan Fanise – Game Director at DigixArt – called it “very special.” “11-11: MEMORIES RETOLD is a very special game at many levels. From the painted style to the emotional journey we create for the player to revive their heritage, we are pushing the boundaries of what a game can be and hope it will leave a mark on you.” Not much else is known about 11-11 just yet, but Bandai Namco has promised more information about it will be released soon.
The project has a very specific task: “Engaging audiences with compelling stories through animation is at the heart of what we do at Aardman. With this project we want to produce an emotionally rich experience with a distinctive visual identity that reflects the sentiment of this narrative,” said David Sproxton, Co-founder of Aardman. “11-11: Memories Retold is truly an exciting step for us as it marks the first time that Aardman has collaborated on a game of this scale and we’re delighted to see this come to life.”
11-11: Memories Retold is a very ambitious project, which will unite the visions and emotions of many people within the development teams and Bandai Namco will play a fundamental role in the development.
