that sounds like a pretty unacceptable bug. I can honestly say that I have never played a game that was broken like that. I see there are youtube videos of people completing this game... i wonder what they did differently. ?
I might be able to get past if I do what I need to do first before passing that area, rather than trying to backtrack back to it. But I hate one of the puzzles and just dont' want to do it again.
Perhaps its only bugged on the Switch version too. Not sure.
