Real use case project example where blockchain comes into play…

Hello there.

I wanted to make this post to bring a real use case example where blockchain comes into play with one of the projects, I personally am looking forward to.

And this is something I want to share with you.

DecentBet is a decentralized online casino platform being built on Vechain Thor network, which ICO was back in 2017 Q3 and they were already delivering, as a project who was actually building their product before the ICO. From there on when they hit the market they also had a nice price surge to almost 0.70$ at the beginning of 2018.

Now we are in a situation where the platform launch is just behind the corner. The reason why I am looking forward for this one is that they are building a product, which is “no-brainer”, as in terms of attracting customers to the platform, but as well investors who are looking for real business model in the Cryptocurrency space.

For customers, it is going to be an online casino platform with sports betting feature, which is totally transparent and decentralized. This means that it is built from the ground-up, as a fair platform with smart-contracts to ensure that all the operations on the platform are “as they suppose to be” and everyone can check the data to make sure that there is no violation of these gambling rules.

The thing with a traditional casino is “we as a players” can not be 100% sure that we were not part of some kind of false scheme deal when we lost our money. This is actually a huge concern in online gaming, as the operations on the platforms can be manipulated and nobody actually knows if they got ripped off or not.

The certain officials and license providers can do only so much about it, as this space is so huge and growing. This is where blockchain come into play by providing an immutable infrastructure/system, where you can check the legitimacy of the platform.

One thing what makes this project more exciting is that DBET token is not just a utility token for gambling on the platform, but they also have a “be the house” model, where you can lock in your DBET tokens quarterly to be part of the 100% profits (after expenses), which are distributed back to the token holders . This is quite unique approach, which in my mind will attract many individuals (investors) to hunt this thing down, as it provides an opportunity to receive passive income on a real business model.

And we know that house always wins :)

As well there is “white label solutions” for other companies to use DecentBet infrastructure to build their own platform, which can be bought only with DBET tokens from the open market. This is just another reason why the DBET token itself will have its demand, as there are many use cases for the token.

And if we talk about the team, then these guys are nice and humble with great background. As of CEO Jedidiah Taylor statement, they are more likely a team who is “underpromising and overdelivering”, which I think is a nice motto to go with, as there are many projects, who just hype to get the price up.

DecentBet has definitely not seen the attention of a wider public in the gaming space, but this time will come for sure because there is no other company at this stage with the combination of experienced team members and unique benefits what DecentBet offers.
