I wouldn´t rule out GTA V being unveiled in this rumored direct and that it will come out this fall. Nintendo is launching their paid online service this September and they need a few heavy hitters to justify paying for it. Totally agree on them showing off a Smash Bros port; I guess it will have all the features from the 3DS and Wii U version combined. Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Editon and Mario Tennis Aces should also get concrete release dates. And how about showing us some Wolfenstein II ;)? Can´t wait until February 14th, 15th or 16th!
I never ruled out GTA V from this direct. I'm just saying it isn't gonna happen so soon. GTA V is huge and they have to get the network just right or else GTA Online is gonna be DOA for a while on switch. Also, I agree with you on Wolfenstein II. Doom was already a heavy hitter so no doubt Wolfenstein II would be too. I also predict that the other wolfenstein games are gonna have ports just before the release of Wolfenstein II.
Yeah you are right. GTA is a different beast than Mario Kart or Smash Bros in terms of resources. I am really curious about Nintendo's online model though. They have been very secretive so far.
And the older Wolfenstein games should definitely come to switch. A collection containing all the games would be amazing!
