A game called Tibia
I'm gonna tell a bit about an old MMORPG called Tibia, and why is it still alive after so many years.
Tibia is different from any other MMORPG, let me tell a few reasons why, if i were to write all the reasons i think this game is worth playing it would take hours:
Tibia has only 4 classes to chose from, each of them are unique, and you can't change it later.
Tibia has no level cap, that means you can level up forever.
Tibia is not for noobs, you know that game where you start at level 0, two minutes later you are level 10, then you keep making quick quests that always makes you level up at the end, and after 3 days you reach the max level? Well, you won't find anything close to that on Tibia. In this game, it may take you months, or even years to be considered a "High Level".
And that's exactly what makes this game unique and fun to play, you can always have a new goal since there's no max level, and you know that every new level you get is something to be proud of. While in other games you need days to be someone and even after that you know it's not much of a big thing, in Tibia the best players are taken as legends, the first to get level 100, the first to get a rare item, the first to make a hard quest, the first to do what most thought was impossible, this people are remembered to this days by most Tibian players.
The quests in Tibia are also different from the other games, most of the quests are not taught like in other games where there is a mark on your map and a whole tutorial about how to make it. In Tibia some of the quests may take hours to be made, and someone must know exactly how to do, since many quests in this game are very complex, and even with some websites providing spoilers for the quests, most players know how to do by themselves, and it's pretty normal. Also, in Tibia most of the quests don't give you any exp, the players do it by the items, that sometimes are only obtained by doing the quests, and these items may worth a lot of money.
For most players, Tibia is not just a simple game, it's more of a lifestyle, the old Tibians like to say "You may leave Tibia, but Tibia never leaves you".
