Say no more! French Gamers surely know how to break those stereotype.

Below we will witness a truly noble initiative from french gamer's community in order to take part of making the world a better place.

As we all know, currently there's devastating storm which impact the southeastern coastal of United States and leaving a trail of destruction. People had to be evacuated from their home and they had to deal with power shortages. The news were spread all over the internet and people were praying for victims. Some people were also sharing their conditions and tips all over steemit while facing IRMA Hurricane.

On the other side of the world, French Gamers are noticing this devastating natural disaster thus initiating a fund raiser to help the victims partnering with red cross organization.

ZeratoR, a french streaming and eSports company initiated a fund raiser for IRMA victim by organizing a streaming party lead by Adrien Nougaret, aka ZeratoR. During the event, 30 streamers gathered for a weekend to play and collect the maximum amount of funds to be allocated for Red Cross Organization. As a result, In total of 50 hours, Z event has collected more than 450k € and received appraisal from French President, Emmanual Macron as he twitted :

However, This is not the first time gamers gathered for a good cause. Last year, under ZeratoR, a project named The Avengers was held in order to help Ethiopian which collected up to 170k €. The community bond is surely strong given that eSports is currently popular mainly among youngsters. And such initiative could become an example for gamers all around the world to not only play but could contribute in making the world a better place.
