WRESTLING REVOLUTION 3D REVIEW

in #gaming6 years ago

Some of the conditions gamers take into consideration before downloading a game differs or varies according to individual preferences. Some would fall for a captivating storyline, some would root for the graphics while some are only concerned about the gameplay. For me, I don't think I have a real preference. Anyway, if I'm cornered up to the point where I have to decide what rocks my boat, I think I will go for storyline. There are some exceptional games however, that sport the three main features of a game; Games like Modern Combat 4, 5, Shadow fight 2, 3, Brothers: A Tale Of Two Sons, AVP (Alien Vs Predators) Evolution E.T.C.

My Point ?

There are some games, that even without the three 'blessings' are irresistible. If you talk about Mortal Kombat X which is endowed with Graphics, Injustice 2 which has a great storyline and graphics, Real racing which has an outstanding graphics, you find out that they either come short of one or two of the three but that does not take away their thrill. What we will be looking at today is;

WRESTLING REVOLUTION 3D

One of the few games that has managed to impress me even with mediocre graphics

Two years ago when I downloaded the WW2k15 for mobile, what took me in was the superb graphics and the 'real' characters. It's general gameplay was impressive but the controls was off. Not that it was overly bad but it lacked the wrestling feel. Moves were restricted to one character in contrast to wrestling 3D. You get to explore various customizations, decide your preferences and all. Even the different game modes is mouth watering. To think it does not require much of your storage to run effectively is a soothing relief (50 mb). Just walk with me as I uncover it's selling point, it is surely worth the while.

On starting the game, it takes about one minute thirty seconds to load. This process can be skipped but it will reduce the in-game overall loading time. This is not a one time occurrence but each and everytime you open the game. It happens because it's a 3D game so it takes time to render the graphics.

You have FOUR options on launch:

  • PLAY: Training mode, Shows like War Games, Japan Tour, USA Tour, 6 Sides of Steal, Uk Tour, Satire Series, Mexico Tour. Each of this shows comprises different matches that you can play. Here is what the War Games look like.

  • UNIVERSE: Actually, this isn't much of an option if you are not using the pro version which costs $4.99. You can only generate rosters and restore defaults with the universe option if you are using the free version.

  • UPGRADE: This is where you get to buy the pro version to gain

full access to each career with no ads or limits, starting with anyone anywhere!,Save your changes to all 9 rosters and play exhibition matches of your own creation.
  • OPTIONS: You get to customize your controls here, Preferences like music, referees, entrances e.t.c and display options like detailed model, shadows, rope animations, crowd, lighting and so on.

The Career Mode is actually full of intrigues, twists, turns et all. I don't even know how they managed to develop the plot which ( as it seems) is based solely on your decision. That makes a whole lot of independence unlike some tell tale games that would still boil down to an ending. You get signed into different managements with different contracts and mouthwatering offers. It also seems to me like the money is gotten from the career mode is next to useless as it technically, does not need to be spent on anything.

I play as the character Mike Bail. Each character starts his/her career in the wrestling school before being signed into different managements. Customization also relies (up to a point) on the contract as signed. This right here is my character after agreeing to carry on the legacy of a legendary wrestler whose costume looks like this:

Creepy Isn't it?

I actually agreed to carry up the mantle because I like SPOOKY. And this right here is what the stage fight looks like, results can be simulated, camera perspectives can be changed, jaws can be dropped, bones can be broken, teams can get disappointed, streak can be stopped, deadly moves can be taken, counter attacks et all. In fact, almost all wrestling moves can be done.

Impossible is actually nothing in this game, you can even get to play the 20 man royal rumble. So it's currently, to me ( Individual preferences) , the best wrestling game for android out there. Second to none, and due to it's size, you can easily try it out without worrying about space and data consumption.

MY PERSONAL RATINGS

  • GRAPHICS:5/10
  • CONTROLS: 9.5/10
  • GAMEPLAY: 10/10
  • STORYLINE: 10/10
  • SOUND: 6/10
