PS2 collecting will indeed be the next big wave. Nostalgia tends to surge about every twenty years or so, meaning the people who were kids when the PS2 came out are now adults possibly looking to rekindle their interests.
The sheer volume of quality software on the PS2 is jaw-dropping, especially as you pointed out there are so many phenomenal games that are $5 titles. I wrote a post a year or so back about getting started in PS2 collecting on a budget.
Also, does it make me an asshole that the only game out of your "expensive titles" listing that I'm missing is Kuon? :D
Nah. Just makes me jealous :). I managed to pick up Haunting Ground and Blood Will Tell at great prices, though theyre both missing the manual.
Im still hopeful that Ill luck upon Rule of Rose somewhere like a pawns shop. Thats where I found Blood Will Tell.
