Total War: Arena is back!

From hearing it coming back with Creative assembly's partnership NetEase games the count down had begun. Since then Many within the community tried to stay occupied and keep each other entertained with archive footage and plays. From old rivalries to new friendships formed. Total War: Arena has been the game that has captured the minds of those who wanted more from the ultimate strategy battle game. It has has changed the way we look at battles and look to our team.

As of January applications started, and now we are here! Unknown whether we'd be required to use a vpn to access the game on its return to exclusively China, we still are going to try to give this game a chance where we can.

To our Chinese warrior brothers and sisters, we welcome you into the ranks and wish you the best of fun. Whether its beside us or against us, we are excited for the biggest esports region to jump in. If not to make Total War: Arena the best competitive MOBA, then to at least save it as I believe the all the chances are spent. Third time is the charm, with the first attempt on Steam through CA and Sega, pushing to a independent publisher Wargaming for their second attempt.

Whether sink or swim, I hope EU and NA join together to help the game as much as possible. Many enemies have made our peace for the survival and rise of Arena.

With only 1 hour to go as of writing this, we will see the first Chinese test go live to stress test the servers. Though this test may not be as strict, I'm hoping future tests aren't as strict, to allow us to learn the new changes, and help new players.

We are very excited to see a new faction, and though it may not be in this test, I for one would love to test the Chinese faction. Having a potential General Lu Bu vs Western General Hannibal would make for an epic showdown, and I hope more factions from different regions join the mix in the future. This is the moment we've been waiting for since the passing of the torch to Net ease. We are standing behind China to the future of Arena and the possibilities and potential for Esports. Seeing the world come together under strategic teamwork and friendly competition, is all I could ask for in Arena.
