RE: Zombie Adventure - Game 23 - Day 14 (June 27, 2018)

in #gaming7 years ago

also, sorry for dropping off for the last few days.

Been sick (strangely, with a new set of symptoms each day nearly, though at least today it was just a severe cold, so I think I should be able to return to actual work tomorrow -- talk about a missed weeks work X/ --) for pretty much the whole week now, and haven't had much cognitive power XS

On the + side, I got offers on my digital collectibles on superrare XD

for the two I created, I got a 3$ offer and a 20$ offer, respectively... Think I might hold back on the 3$ one till someone else bids, but the 20$ offer seems quite good for what can be considered a debute in digital art :)

Hey @pbock! I only just found SuperRare the other day... and was loving what I was finding, especially since artists get 10% of the commission for every sale after the initial. Can I ask which art is yours?

I've only created two pieces for now. They're pretty abstract, but I've got a few others I've worked on I'm trying to refine a bit.

I'm hoping I can get lots of pieces going at some point, circulating between people, so I can get some of that 10% ever-repeating pie XD

Hahaha, go git that pie!

I saw 'Summoning the Ether' when I was doing my research... it really stood out amongst all the other SuperRare art. I think it's great dude!

The thing I don't really get about SuperRare, is, like, what will customers do with their purchased one of a kind art? Do we need superthin monitors hanging on our walls to really rock this art form?

Technically, you could use E-Ink tech for that.

TONS of tiny electronic ink balls, and the elctric charge decides what color is displayed.

Black and white is already more or less perfected, and colors displays are beginning to be used in advertisement, given they don't hurt the eyes, use pretty much NO electricity once the display is set, and use nearly none to change.

But it's still a few years off to be truly high-resolution XD

The other idea would be things like Decentraland art galleries and integration into VR and AR... and the less well known, but MUCH more interesting idea of Mixed Reality (basicly a VR space superposed on reality itself and REACTING to changes in it... Niantics working on making pokemons in pokemon go capable of running around and behind objects XD XD XD)

That, or it's a fad.

In any case, I'm hoping someone bids more than the 2$ one collector proposed (I sold my 2nd piece for 21$ today. gonna make a few more when I'm finished with the one I'm making for Bitcrystal's CrystalCraft collection !)

And thanks a lot... I'm happy you like it :)
