Continuing the Grind [OSRS]
Hello everyone! Today I continue the runecrafting grind. It always gets hard after level 65 or so where it feels like I'm so close but, really, 63 is only halfway to 70 and everything become considerably slower after that. But I can't give up now.
The Goal For Today
I made it farther into 66 yesterday than I anticipated. So, today I'm definitely getting 67 and at least 40% into it. Gladly, I think I will now be funded for each level. That means no (more) air runes for me!
How Can I Afford The Materials As A Level 3 Skiller?
Once upon a time, I had quite a bit of money (relative to f2p) on this account. If I can recall, I had 2 bonds (worth about 2.5 mil at the time) and another 1 mil in the bank. I had intended to use that money (which I got from woodcutting, fishing, cooking, and random drop parties) to pay for all of my expensive skills; however, one day, I logged in and my account was at the Grand Exchange. I didn't remember logging out at the GE. I checked my bank, I had been hacked. I lost every valuable item except for my rune axe. I've had to work up money ever since and I have yet to actually break 1 mil gold again.
Luckily, I have an alt account. A poor one, yes, but it allowed me to start flipping. Yesterday it had around 250k which I slowly gained by flipping at the same time as farming ankous. Hitting level 66 runecrafting on my main meant I needed more materials. It set that account back 200k. But then I decided to only flip on that account for now and I was able to turn that 50k back into 200k yesterday.
So now I have the proper funding to continue my runecrafting grind with air talismans. And that's really all for now. I might add my flipping progress in the next post just to give me more to talk about that "Today I will gain 1 level in runecrafting". I actually don't think I'll make it from 69-70 in a day. But we'll see. If I'm lucky, I'll get it this weekend.
