Wargroove: A Look Into 2018 Gaming
Chucklefish studio is releasing a brand new game tactical strategy game in 2018 called Wargroove for PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC. You may have heard the studio name before from games like Starbound and Stardew Valley.
First up this game looks like the spiritual successor to Advance Wars. The art style looks similar, and the tactical game strategy does as well. I think this game will be able to easily find its fan base since many have been waiting for an Advance Wars game for a long time with no release from Nintendo. Chucklefish however has ascertained that there take on this style of game will be sure to have its own mark on the genre. There are special abilities in the game called "grooves". The game is to come with a single player, arcade mode, and multiplayer mode. The single player mode is the central focus with of the game.
Looks like it could potentially be a very good game. We will have to see if Chucklefish can match the success of Stardew Valley with this 2018 game. No official release date as of today. I think the aesthetic of the game looks really nice, and with a good tactical strategy implimentation this could turn out to be winner.
