Minecraft Singleplayer Checklist (Vanilla Survival)

in #gaming6 years ago (edited)

I have started playing #Minecraft again so I thought I would make recorded game play videos. Playing Minecraft is simple so I wanted to walk viewers through finishing the game. I needed a guide though so I did a quick search and found this list (link below).

The order is kinda out of whack though so I re-ordered the items into what I think would be a better fit when playing Minecraft. I've also combined some items too as they made more sense together.

  1. Survive the first night. Done!

  2. Build your first house. - Done!

  3. Build a mine near your house. (Strip, quarry, any kind)

  4. Find Iron in your mine.

  5. Add a second story to your house and upgrade your house to have more cobblestone and stone bricks than wood.

  6. Get a full set of iron armor and tools.

  7. Change your exterior doors of the house to iron doors, so mobs cannot break in.

  8. Find diamonds in the mine.

  9. Get 1 or 2 diamond tools, depending on how many diamonds you find.

  10. Find enough diamonds to get a full diamond set.

  11. Complete your diamond set.

  12. Find obsidian in your mine and mine it with your diamond pickaxe. If you cannot find it, make it with water and lava.

  13. Create and enchanting table.

  14. Build a nether portal.

  15. Go to the nether by lighting up your nether portal and find a nether fortress.

  16. Find a blaze spawner in the fortress, and kill as many blaze as you can.

  17. Return to the real world, along with some other materials you may want to bring with you.

--- I haven't really played past this point so I'll leave it as is ---

  1. Create a brewing stand to make potions.

  2. Upgrade your house to make it awesome.

  3. Next night, go out and kill as many endermen you can. Keep killing until you reach at least 32 ender pearls.

  4. Create the same amount of blaze powder as ender pearls. You will need 1 blaze rod for every 2 blaze powder, so if you need more blaze rods go back to the nether and get some more.

  5. Combine the 2 materials to create ender eyes. The more the better, so stack up.

  6. Using the ender eyes, find the stronghold. This is where the ender portal is.

  7. Use your ender eyes that are left to activate the portal. Up to 12 are needed. If you don't have enough, I guess you lucked out. This is why you need to get as many ender eyes as possible.

  8. Before jumping in, make sure you have potions and such. If you have enchanted armor and sword, great. You will also need a bow and several ladders.

  9. Destroy all the ender crystals scattered around the ender dragon. These heal the dragon.

  10. Kill the ender dragon. Try to capture its egg.

  11. Congratulations! You have completed Minecraft. Now, enjoy the world of Minecraft and continue your experience onto Multiplayer!
