Modmic 4 Review
This is my review for the Antlion Audio Modmic 4.
First off, for those of you that don't know what a modmic is, it's basically a seperate mic that you can attach to any headsets out there. It uses suction pressure to stick to your desired headset.
This is how it looks:
The reason why I decided to get myself a Modmic was because I was so tired of buying countless gaming headsets which has bad microphones. There is no denying that headsets without an intern microphone, exceeds in sound quality compared to a gaming headset with a built-in microphone. The microphone also has a built-in mute switch, and it's highly noise cancelling which is great.
The modmic itself is very flexible, and can be bent the way you want it to be. The microphone sound on the modmic itself is very good, but it is even better if you buy a USB soundcard. The reason for this, is because the microphone picks up a little bit of noise happening from the inside of your computer. And with a USB Soundcard, the noise gets removed.
This is the usb soundcard I have:
I hope this review was helpful for anyone who needs a good and handy microphone.
