Estranged: act II linux Gameplay/review
That moment when you look out your window and theres like 10 Lady bugs patrolling the INSIDE of the glass...
So the game take's place RIGHT after the first one, Which is why you wake of in a cave.
Also if you've played the original you'll notice the graphics are upgraded due to the dev changing game engines from Source to Unreal. Now, in someways its better, But in most Other ways it makes the game a lot worse.
Steam description: Estranged: Act II follows the story of a fisherman, stranded on a mysterious island during a violent storm. The game continues after the events of Estranged: Act I, which followed our hero's adventure in a search for a way to get home.
What i like about it:
- Apart from all the graphical errors, the game looks pretty nice.
What i Dislike about it:
- Did i mention theres graphical errors?
- Combat is boring.
- It is REALLY annoying to have to go into a Maze-like vent system without a flashlight because you've been playing for like 8 minutes and you have only found like, ONE "Flashlight battery" which is just a Car battery with a yellow outline.
The other stuff:
- The gun sounds for the M9 are terrible .
- Its pretty annoying to get stuck on a door because you opened it the wrong way.
- Its in Early access
- The linux version Just got released a day or two ago.
So if you want to play this game, I recommend you wait a bit for some of the errors to get fixed and for more of the game itself to come out. (theres only about 30-40 minutes of gameplay)
