Firstly, I liked how the author highlighted the importance of the older generation in the industry. Many people think that the influence on young people comes mainly from young bloggers, but it turns out that silver influencers, i.e. people over 50, can be just as successful in promoting games. The article interestingly points out that they have a deeper connection with the audience, as they can offer a mature view of the world and a combination of experience and technological literacy. I think this is especially important in the context of online games, where too often the emphasis is on youth culture.
