Dan the Man, awesome mobile pixelate graphic video game

Howdy guys, are you having a lot of fun this weekend? Welcome back again to my blog for some information about video games that are good but not well recognized. In this weekend, I want to share another pixelate graphic video games that I think is good and worth more attention. Video games that I want to talk about today called "Dan the Man". I found this game on Google play store while searching for some pixelate graphic video games a couple of days ago. At first I thought there is nothing special about this game and after spending some time playing it this game is really fun. This casual game literally make me remember some of old games that I played when I was a kid.
Alright, without further a do, let's check out what is this game about.
Dan the Man games information
Dan the Man is a video game that offered by Halfbrick Studios. This video game belong to the genre of action platformer or an arcade video game. This video game is quite popular I think. The downloads of this game in google playstore has reach around 5 - 10 millions download. This game is one of the game that have "Editor Choices" note in Play Store. This video game is offered for free with an in-app purchase system. There are several things that the player could purchase such as item weapons and several other things include the currency in the game which is in the form of gold that can be use to upgrade the character.
In order to be able to play this game, your android version must be at least on version 4.1 or "Jelly Beans". The latest update of this game as this article written is on 28 February, 2018. The version of the game currently is version 1.2.1. The latest update of the game bring several change. These change includes new arenas, new object to assist the player, some change also received by the events in the game and also some bug have been fixed as well. There is also an optional in-app purchase system in this game, but you can disable it in the setting menu.
Dan the Man Gameplay
In term of the gameplay, the video game have a good gameplay. The player will control the character or the hero to save a civilization from the enemies. At the beginning of the game, the player need to chose the hero, there are 3 heroes available. Two of them you can select for free, while another on is not free. You will need to do a purchase if you want to play the third character. The character or heroes named "Dan", "Josie", and "Barry". These character also have some skill that you can upgrade. More details information about this later.
In the game, there will be two games mode available, it is called "Prologue" and "Main Story". In this two mode, the gameplay is similar. The player need to fight against enemies in a plarform kind of gameplay system where the heroes will begin at the start point and go the end point where he/she need to fight against enemies in the way. As the side story, there are some events too that you can play where you will get some rewards for playing it. Another game mode that you can play in Dan the Man beside the story mode is called "Survival". However this mode is locked. To unlock it, you need at least to pass the level 1 - 3 in order to unlock this "Survival" mode.
Once you choose your hero, you will play the game in the story mode, here there are three story to chose from. Main Story, Frosty Plains, and Fright Zone. Unfortunately, it is only the main story is available for free. If you want to play the other two stories mode, you need to do a purchase. The price is also quite high I think, in order to be able to play the other two stories, you need to pay around 5-6 dollars. The good news is, the main story of the game is not so bad to play. It is quite fun and I think it is enough and you do not need to buy the other two stories mode.
In the main story, there are four map available to play, or here in this game, these map correspond to the level. Each of these level have a lot of stages to that you can play. Once you finish one stage, you will get a chest where you can open it and claim a lot of rewards including gold and some other things as well. Once you finish one stage, you will go to another stage, at the end of the level or in another words at the final stage of each level, you will fight against a boss. To win a fight against these boss, you will need a certain skill, otherwise, it will be difficult to win.
In the game, to assist the player navigate the map and win the fights against enemies, there are items that you can use such as gun, swords and even a ninja tools such as shuriken. With these you can attack the enemies from a distance without the need to approach them to do a close combat. The main combat in this game however is a close combat fighting style where you will use kicks, jump, and punch to eliminate the enemies. The weapons such as swords and shuriken will be available in the game where you will need it if you want to fight the enemies that are separate from you with a river or something else where you can not approach them.
The skills of the hero in the game is use the close combat style as I said in above paragraf. You can see the above picture for this skills. These skills can also be upgraded in order to make it stronger and bring more power in your attack so that you can defeat the enemies easily. The upgrade however only at five levels. You will need a lot of coins in order to upgrade these skills so make sure you collect a lot of them when you play the game. These golds sometime will locate in a place that you need seek for it such as a secret arena that available in the game. If you found this arena, there are a lot of rewards you can get here.

My Personal Opinion about Dan the Man
After spending some time playing it, I really enjoy the game a lot, the gameplay is very good and fun. The fighting style of the character is also quite good. For now, this game is literally my favorite pixelate video game for mobile platform. The game mode that it has and with four levels that you can play for free is quite good I think. Another things that make me interest about the game is that, there are ads in the gameplay, however you can skip them, the ads only appear if you destroy objects such as statue in the game. If you do not want to see the ads, you just can pass the statues and continue the play. I really recommend the game for those of you who like playing action platformer game especially if you like pixelate graphic games.
