Here comes a drive-by post by the been-very-absent-from-steemit gardenlady!!

But WOW, the culinary delights along the way have been glorious. FIrst stop was a family wedding in Massachusetts, and then onto Maine where it's been a continuous excellent place to spend a ridiculous amount of time...which I have been doing to the nth degree.

Here are just a few of the yum nums we've have enjoyed. I hope you do too...

The wedding cake!

I am still busy gardening...in fact, came down with LYME's, but I think I caught it pretty quickly. Felt AWFUL for the past week, but antibiotics have kicked in. Gonna take em for 3 weeks.

While on anti-biotics, You're not supposed to drink or get direct sun exposure....Uh Oh....how shall I pass the time?????

Happy July days everyone!

lol, will see if I can keep it up...Ii guess other things occupying y time these days!

Hey it is great to see you post. Oh no I can't believe you got that. Do you remember being bit? What state do you think it happened.

I'm Michigan we have the big ticks. I never say the small ticks till I went to buy a lot in Virginia. Got a small one on me. I almost dropped the deal coz of it. Be well @gardenlady

In Maine and I had no idea I had been bitten. And I will divulge....when I saw the bullseye rash...it was right around my bellybutton! Tiny bugger crawled right in and had lunch

Oh, no, not Lyme! Glad you got prompt treatment. The doxy does make one photo-sensitive!

All that wonderful food! I'd be a huge balloon after all that!!

I try to make sure I have done a combo of gardening walking bicycling hiking to hopefully take care of eating a bit too much!!

Hey Gardenlady! Thanks much for the support. I am hoping you are doing ok with the Lyme and hope you have been able to enjoy your summer.

thanks old guy! Lyme has gone (cross fingers) - i took the DOxy for 3 weeks. Other than that - terrific summer !! spent a ton of it in Maine where it was waaaaay cooler than NJ.
