August is here... This is your chance to show off your gardens, farms, balconies,..! Show us what you are growing, harvesting and which bugs or pests you are fighting.
Fall or Spring Is Knocking On Our doors
Depending on where you live in the world, the changing of the season is coming closer each day.
For some of you, this means harvesting is your main occupation - maybe you're even sowing or planting some winter crops - for others, making plans and deciding which crops to grow becomes more exciting every day.
This SteemIt Community Challenge allows you to share your monthly garden updates with your fellow Steemians.

The third edition had quite a lot of entries. There were many fellow Steemians who allowed us to take a peek into their garden.
For that, I’d like to thank @thelaundrylady, @yogajill, @goldendawne, @goldenoakarm, @jamrubio, @wizardave, @lynncoyle1, @porters, @buckaroo and @abitcoinskeptic
But it's hard to believe there aren't more of you gardeners out there who are dying to show off your garden. If you haven’t joined before, feel free to start now. It’s never too late to show off the beauties you have in your garden/on your farm or balcony.
The Challenge
The rules of the challenge haven’t changed:

You can include whatever you want in your post, but please remember that the pictures should be the most important aspect of your post.
Show us how your plants, herbs, flowers or vegetables are doing. Share what you’ve been doing in your garden. Let us know if you are dealing with things like fungus, caterpillars, aphids, and - even more important - hów you’re dealing with those.
In short, tell us the story of your garden.
🏆 The Upvotes
Both your entry posts as your entry comment will receive a 100% upvote from my account. With the price of Steem hitting rock bottom, that might not be such a huge amount, but it's better than nothing, right.
I'm also going to try to give every entry an extra reward, but since that will be an experiment, I'm not sure I will be able to pull it off - so I'm not going to reveal too much about that yet.

Prefrrably, I'd like to receive all entries before this post pays out in7 days, but entries will be accepted up until the day I post the winners post.
I can't really make any promises when that will be. If I have the time and energy, it will be up 7 days from now, but as you might have noticed during the last edition, it might take a little longer.
To be 100% sure your entry will be submitted in time, I suggest you stick to the 7-day period in which this post is still relevant.

If you haven’t already, grab that camera and shoot some amazing pics from your garden. I’m pretty sure I’m not the only one that is curious about how it has changed during this last month.

I told @foxyspirit a couple of days ago that I would leave the contest open for entries a little longer. I don't even have the time to get my own post up within a week, how can i expect from others they can, lol.
I encourage to use the hashtag for every garden post you make, even when the contest isn't running. That way, we'll get a nice collection of gardening journals throughout the year.

That was exactly my intention: enjoying more gardens then just my own, while picking up something new here and there. So far, I consider it to be a success. Reading all those updates, watching all those pics... it always brings a smile to my face :0)

Hello, this is my entrance, I present my little garden, where I grow some vegetables and fruits; where some of the crops are given and others do not, but always with the grace of God I receive some harvest that provides me and I can enjoy its natural benefits. Experience the contact with nature directly and learn every day that passes more about it and everything it has to offer, which I think is a great supervenience.

Hey, Thanks for putting on this challenge and inspiring me to get out and take some pictures to share. I love hanging out on the deck too. It's the best place to get away from the mosquitoes.
Nlt to mention the place is simpy adorable. I don't think I would mind a couple of mosquitos while sitting there :0)

A vandal destroyed my garden it is partly why we got a security system they also have been throwing broken glass where the dogs play. Gonna make some vandal famous if they keep it up.

Here's one for you: Two of my favorite plants were blooming and growing so nicely, then Buddy decided to go crazy one night chasing a huge cockroach and smashed them both. Missed the damn roach too :)
Oh nooo! And then even missed the roach... :0(
The roach was probably an excuse to be able to kill gbe plants.
I promise you, Buddy, soon I'll make a series of 'cat journal' posts!
haha @simplymike, oh he's caught one before and brought it in the apartment to play with! I only knew because he let it go and it ran by and grazed by ankle ... so disgusting!!! We killed it then he "yelled" at us all night haha

So soon. Luckily I have been busy in my garden. I have been pulling things out to dry and trying to get clippings to grow roots so I can plant them after the August heat wave. I also hope to get another round of leafy green veggies in near the end of August. Anyway I will post my update soon. PS gonna resteem again.
