Life is never dull at the Garden of Eden.  

That I can say for certain!!!!

This past month's events have sent us spinning!

Between all of us, we have been experiencing  a wide range of emotions,
and having the opportunity to really face ourselves on even deeper levels than ever before.

I for one have been angry, frustrated, confused, defensive, appalled, suspicious, overwhelmed, aggravated, hesitant, regretful, horrified, nervous, compassionate, exasperated, disgusted, apprehensive, disappointed, astonished, annoyed, disappointed, offended, resentful, determined, discouraged,, curious, weary, vulnerable, worried, powerless, distrusting,  cautious, disturbed, shocked, numb, ambivalent, sad, fearful, dominated, alert, determined, distressed, confident,  disheartened, infuriated, concerned, confused, courageous, furious, outraged, stressed, strong, threatened, curious, hopeful, tired, confident, anxious, betrayed, hopeful, loving, nurturing, relieved, and above all,

appreciative and grateful!

There's nothing like a cataclysmic event  that can shake you to the core of your being
and change your fundamental perspective and direction in life.

We are taking this opportunity at the @gardenofeden
to regroup and activate an even more empowered and vivacious reality.

We know we are here on this planet for a reason.
It's time to step up and put our master training into high level action!

The difficulties are just as important as the joys.
Maybe even more so.

Though facebook shut all of us down multiple times
immediately after the stabbing of  @quinneaker,
the blockchain will carry our message and let the truth be seen.

It is no coincidence that we have found our way here,
are being supported by our global family,
and that great change will come from the slimy swill.

I haven't written a post here on Steemit for about a month.
I began this post the week after the stabbing,
but let it just sit here waiting to be finished,
as nothing really felt as important as being present with the events right in my face.

It has been a month since that difficult day May 23rd.
Not only was I in disbelief about what happened to Quinn,
but I was also surprised and unfortunately not surprised,
about how the Arlington Police Department handled the entire situation.

I have been spending my time writing affidavits about the events that day,
including the 3 trespasses by the Arlington Police without a warrant.
I have dealt with the trespass and hiding out on our land
in the following days of the man who stabbed Quinn,
paid bail, interviewed attorneys, made open records requests,
reviewed the photographs and videos we took of the APD on our land,
did some investigation on our own,
recounted the many year history of the dishonorable actions of the APD,
contacted the media,
hosted Eden Metamorphosis,
and am giving Quinn daily massages to help him recover from his injuries.

I also, reluctantly and with much internal strife,
made a payment to the City of Arlington on 12 warrants they had out for my arrest.
Yes, Shellie Smith has been a wanted woman for nearly 4 years,
as I have refused to pay these dishonorable people a single dime
since their full-on black ops SWAT raid at the @gardenofeden in 2013.

I have been continually threatened by these warrants hanging over my head,
never knowing if I set foot outside my gates what would happen.
Who knew that grass growing over 12 inches tall,
improperly stacked wood,
the wrong kind of fabric on outdoor furniture and the like
could make one beholden to a City that uses their forces
against peaceful people in service to humanity.

I chose to make a payment to get them out of warrant status.
I never know what they have up their sleeves,
especially when they just break and enter whenever they please.
To spend my time at all concerned about their evil intentions
and my personal well-being, is just not worth the $4,400.00
in fines they have levied against me.
Not to mention the thought of spending time breathing their air,
drinking their water, and eating their food for the 45-90 days
it would likely take to sit it out in their cold and dirty jail.

So, all in all, I'm delighted to be back on Steemit.
I'm overjoyed to be with my people here at the @gardenofeden,
have their support, their energy, and their love.
It's alway amazing to have people I can count on and trust,
who I know always have my back,
and will give of themselves to make my life better everyday.

for sharing the word that needs to be shared,
and for your up votes and support that will
lessen the financial burden of these times.

I am most grateful for @quinneaker,
who even though has taken the brunt of the impact of this entire scenario,
still stands strong, honorable and positive.
One never to complain, he is still finding solutions,
making documentaries, managing and directing the intricacies of community living, and
conducting high-level business negotiations toward bullding a better world for all.
@quinneaker is a shining light, and I have no doubt that he will alchemize this incident too,
into something that activates global change.
